(y/n)'s POV
I followed Flowey into the RUINS with ease. There were puzzles along the way which confused me, but Flowey explained that were already solved by Frisk and that they're scattered across the Underground.
I nodded as we continue in the RUINS. I was carrying Flowey inside one of my water bottles so it would fit him since he can't walk.
"So, why did you even come here in the first place if you knew there weren't even monsters down here?" Flowey said slightly annoyed.
"Because I wanted to see the place my sister saved the monsters 5 years ago. That's kinda obvious." I retorted. Jeez this flower couldn't get any nicer.
"But really why did you come here?" Flowey asked.
"Frisk, are there any monsters still down in the Underground?" I asked.
"Well, after the barrier broke, all the monsters basically ran out of the Underground and were literally kissing the ground." She laughed.
I soon joined the laughter as well. We laughed for a while until Frisk muttered, "There's still one down there."
Not knowing I heard, I spoke, "Really?! I want to meet it so I can take it up here to the surface."
She looked at me with disbelief, "Are you sure? He could hurt you. I did spare him, but..." she faltered.
"But what?" I pressed on.
"Nothing, don't go there. Not yet" she finished.
"Aww, but can you at least tell me their name?" I asked quietly.
She let out a sigh and said softly, "His name is Asriel. Asriel Dreemurr."
"I wanted to take Asriel Dreemurr to the surface. I heard he's still down here according to Frisk, and I want him to come to the surface with me." I answered Flowey confidently.
Flowey's expression saddened after hearing Asriel's name. I took notice and questioned him, "Hey, you alright?"
Flowey's expression changed back to normal and sneered, "I'm totally fine. It's just I'm thinking..."
"Thinking about what?" I asked.
"None of your damn business, kid. C'mon we're almost to the end of the RUINS." he snapped.
This chapter fills you with DETERMINATION.
