"(y/n)! Come here and meet Sans and Papyrus!" Frisk yells across Toriel's house.
"Coming!" the 10 year old (y/n) yelled back. She was drawing a picture of the golden flowers in Asgore's garden. She grabbed her crayons and picture and ran to meet the skeleton brothers.
"(y/n), please no running in the house. You might get hurt again, remember?" Toriel warned. Being the klutz she was (A/N: This happens to me pretty much every day :D), she just tripped on her own feet spraining her ankle...again for the third time this month.
Monsters came back to the surface for only a month now along with Frisk. Frisk introduced everyone to (y/n), well except the skeleton brothers, Sans and Papyrus. (y/n) cried out in pain as tears overflow, clutching her ankle.
Sans and Papyrus heard the cry of pain, and Sans immediately took action as he rushed to the cry. He turned to the hallway where (y/n) fell, crying as her ankle is now swollen for tripping one too many times. He rushed to her side showing concern to the little girl.
"It's going to be okay, kiddo." He slowly kneeled down to inspect the ankle. (y/n)'s tears kept coming down as she tried to keep from sobbing in front the short skeleton. She doesn't even know his name!
"Hey, Tori we may need to check her up. It looks pretty bad." Sans hollered over. Toriel rushes to the skeleton and girl.
"IS EVERYTHING OKAY OVER THERE?" a loud voice booming in the house making (y/n) scared all of the sudden.
"It's okay, that's just my bro. You're (y/n), right? Heh, Frisk told me a lot about you. A skele-ton." Sans assured the frightened girl.
She relaxed a little but was still shaken up from the pain. Toriel inspects the ankle while Sans was trying to cheer (y/n) by puns and she started calming down. After a moment or two, she made her decision.
"Well, it's not so bad to be checked out at the hospital, but it needs to be iced and bandaged well. No running for a while, my child. Looks like you're going to be a lazy couch potato for about a couple days." Toriel concluded.
"Don't you mean lazy bones like me?" Sans added.
(y/n) giggled as Sans grinned from her reaction. "Heh, you finally stopped crying. The name's Sans by the way. And that over there who just yelled is Papyrus." Sans sighed in relief.
"DO WE NEED TO TAKE THE YOUNGER HUMAN TO THE HOSPITAL?" Papyrus' voices rings out now in the presence of everyone else with Frisk by his side.
"Thankfully, we don't. She just needs some resting on her ankle for a couple of days. Would you kindly get the ice pack in the freezer, Papyrus? And Frisk can you get some bandages?" She instructed.
"Come on, kid. Let's take you to your room." He opened his arms out for the little girl as she carefully hugged him while he scooted her up to carry.
Toriel guided Sans to (y/n)'s room. She pulled the covers and grabbed a couple pillows for the foot to rest. Sans carefully set the fragile girl on her bed as her foot was on the pillows.
"I CAME BACK WITH AN ICE PACK!!" Papyrus announced.
"I have the bandages, mom." Frisk said after.
"Thank you, Papyrus and Frisk. You guys can go play now." Toriel thanked.
The two left the room and went to play with Papyrus' action figures in Frisk's room. As Toriel was bandaging little (y/n), Sans was absorbing the room. There were drawing of the monsters she has seen so far. There was Undyne and Alphys, Monster Kid, Mettaton and Napstablook, Toriel and Asgore, and of Frisk and (y/n)'s reunion. He smiled as he saw the last one of the two human sisters hugging while crying their hearts outs.
'For a kid her age, she's pretty talented in drawing.' Sans said to himself. He looked over to (y/n) who is now continuing the golden flowers drawing.
"Hey, whatcha drawin over there?" Sans asked.
"I'm drawing dad's golden flowers from his garden. They were so pretty I had to draw them!" (y/n) chirped making Sans want to melt from the cuteness. (lol I would too)
Sans chuckled at the kid's response knowing this kid's alright and wouldn't hurt a fly, unlike someone else he knows.
(y/n)'s POV
"Hellooo? Earth to (y/n)! WAKE UP ALREADY!!!" a familiar voice screeched at my sleeping form.
"Flowey, give me five more minutes" I complained.
"No! We got to go now! Even though Smiley Trashbag isn't here, I'd still like to get out of his domain!" Flowey hissed.
We crashed in the skeleton's old house in Snowdin for the night because I was so tired and cold. Flowey insisted to continue but I had to stop or I would collapse right then and there.
"Besides, I think you'll like the next area we're going to." Flowey muttered under his breath.
"What was that?" I teased.
"NOTHING I SAID NOTHING YOU IDIOT!!" Flowey screamed.
"Okay, okay fine. Geez." I breathed out angrily. I took a couple deep breaths and got ready for day ahead of me.
I packed up more clothes from Sans' old room and other food from the shop in town. I picked up Flowey and we headed our way.
