Flowey's POV

Why did she say his name? Didn't Frisk learned that there's no way to save him? I don't understand that human. Yet this one as well, her sister. We were approaching to Toriel's "Home" and (y/n) had a confused look on her face.

"Is that a house?" she questioned.

"No, it's just a pile of ashes. OF COURSE IT IS!" I screeched. Damn, is she dumb?

"WELL SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW!!" she retorted.

"Why am I with him anyway?" she muttered under her breath.

Smirking I answered, "Well, kid I'm still trying to figure out why you want to save him. You haven't even met him!"

She looked down at me with a new look on her face. I know that face too well. Determined.

"Everyone deserves a second chance...even you Flowey or should I say Asriel." She answered calmly.

(y/n)'s POV

Flowey's expression went from rage to depress.

"Why? I don't deserve it." Flowey sneered as tears brimmed his eyes.

"Asriel, like I said everyone deserves a second chance. Frisk told me about you, well not as a flower though. I figured you're Asriel because you are the only one down there and Asriel is also the only one left." I answered.

"I'm sure when you reach the surface everyone will give you a chance." I whispered.

Flowey's tears started streaming down his face and he started hiccupping. "Why are you...being so nice to me?" he cried out.

I hugged the water bottle containing Flowey trying to calm him down.

"It's okay, I'm here and I'll never leave you unlike my sister." I promised as Flowey continued crying as his tears stained my shirt.

After a few moments of just hugging and Flowey's crying, we finished our hugging and continued our journey by entering "Home".

I realized that Flowey's starting to show emotions besides anger. Maybe, he's slowly gaining feelings and maybe a soul? I don't know how a monster's (or should I say a flower's) soul works.
