Chapter 11: "You know, the things on which we are supposed to sit?"

The alarm beeps again, signaling that I have to get out of my cozy bed and go to classes. Rolling out of my bed, I am greeted with the sight of Ally putting on her makeup. Rolling my eye, I get up from the bed and stretch in my usual way.

"Your way of waking up never ceases to amaze me." I don't have to look at her to know that she is rolling her eyes at me. "Says the person who puts on more makeup than a joker," This time it's my turn to roll my eyes.

I slowly make my way to the wardrobe and pick out some jeans and t-shirt. If you haven't figured out by now, it's my time of the month.

Following the same routine of everyday, I take shower, brush my teeth etc. once I get out of the bathroom, I dry my hair and pull them up into a bun.

"Whoa! You are coming to the college like this." Ally asks me. I roll my eyes to the high heaven. "Yes I am. Now let's go, I want to get my coffee." I grab her by arm and literally drag her to the school.

While Ally picks up her book from the locker, I make my way to cafeteria and order a large cappuccino. When I turn back to the locker, I see Kelly sitting on a table tapping something into her phone.

"Who are you texting?" I ask her once I go to her table. She looks up from the phone and waves her hand. "No one special," She stands up from her seat."Let's go, we are going to be late." She grabs my arm and we make our way to the locker where Ally is standing.

While Kelly and Ally talk, I pick out my thing for the English class and then we all walk to the class. I sip on my heavenly coffee which makes me emit a moan from my mouth.

"Geez Susan, you are moaning like you are doing the deed." Kelly says and rolls her eyes at me. I huff and continue to drink my delicious coffee. Seriously, the person who makes this coffee must be an alien or something.

"So, anything new?" Kelly asks us noticing that we all are silent which is very unusual considering that we all are usually the loudest.

"Nothing much," Ally shrugs. "Just saw a movie last night." We all then walk silently to the class. The start of the day is pretty boring; I hope it doesn't get more boring. Well, if possible.

Once we enter the class, my eyes immediately catch the blonde hair of Alex. My mood immediately lifts up and a smile makes it way on my face. I wave my hand frantically and call his name.

Alex catches my eye and immediately waves back with a smile. Oh how much I missed his smile? When I look at the girls, they are giving me the 'look'. You know the one when they think that you have a crush at someone and you are hiding it.

I roll my eyes at them. I don't like Alex in that way- I don't like anyone in that way, yet. They may be smoking hot but still I am not attracted to them in 'that' way.

I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't notice Alex standing in front of me with his permanent smile. "Hey, long time no see," I say to Alex once I have recovered from my thoughts.

He smiles apologetically. "Sorry, had some work to do. But now it's finished so I'll be attending the class regularly." I nod in understanding.

"And where's Nat?" Kelly pops her head beside me.

"Oh she's also here."

Kelly nods and then smiles at Alex. I open my mouth to speak but Ally nudges me from back. I look towards her with a glare. She narrows her eyes at me and says. "If you are done flirting with Alex, can we go and sit on the chairs? You know, the things on which we are supposed to sit?" Her voice holds sarcasm, duh.
