Chapter 10: "From which angle do I look like a thief?"
"Okay so let's see that do you have comebacks for everything. Ready?"
"Okay."
"Let's start with the classic. Ew! You are ugly."
"I tried to look like you today."
"Wow. Okay, um... What if someone's spreading rumors about you?"
"Well it's great to know that you can spread other things except your legs."
"Sassy. I like it. Um... If someone has over makeup."
"You know, there's a fine line between make up and looking like you just got gangbanged by Crayola."
"That's the best one."
"I know. "
We are currently in our dorm room, sitting on the bed. And by we I mean James and me. He came here some minutes ago.
We tried to think hard to come with some cool ideas of the skit before time, so we could be prepared. We wrote down all the ideas of every genre that we could think of.
After we finished that James asked me that if I have a comeback for everything. He is currently rolling on the bed, still laughing from last comeback. It was pretty funny.
"Hey James, how come you forgave us for yesterday?" I ask him once his laughter gets under control. The mention of last night makes his eyes with some unknown emotion for a second but he covers it up quickly.
"Well when I went to my room last night, I gave it a thought. It was all not your fault. I shouldn't have snapped at Ally like this." He cutely shrugs at the end.
I bite my lip hard to stifle my smile but seeing James like this, I end up smiling with the biggest smile on my face.
He is totally being cute. And here I was thinking that he is a bad boy stereotype which he is certainly not. Bad boys don't forgive easily, they do not make you laugh or sit with you at lunch time and last but not least, they make a sexual comments every time. James also does this but not all the time.
"You know, the way you are smiling at me is making me horny."
Okay, I take it back. James never passes an opportunity for a sexual comment. But my point is that he is not a bad boy.
My phone rings beside me, breaking through my thoughts. I quickly grab it to see that mom is calling. I quickly pick up.
"Hey mo-" I try to greet her but she interrupts me.
"Please tell me that you are still a virgin?" I nearly choke on the thin air. I know I shouldn't be surprised by my mom's comment but there is a boundary.
"Mom!" I protest. Thank chocolate that James is far from hearing sight. God forbid if he had listened it. A shudder passes through me by thinking of the possibilities.
"What? I am just looking out for my only daughter." She melts my hear by saying this.
"Anyways how are you? How is Jeremy and Dad? Oh and how is Aunt Marie?"
"Well I am fine, your dad and Jer came back today and Marie is totally fine now although I'll visit her soon."
"Can I talk to dad and Jeremy?"
