On The Radio just came on the radio. LOL.

Christina is a radio DJ
Katherine is a ballerina
Lisa is an architect
Amy is a schoolteacher
Lauren is a karate instructor
Dani is a singer-songwriter

When Cimorelli decided to take a break in 2018, Dani didn't want to break for long as she continued to pursue music. Amy still did some music but more part-time than anything. The others took a break entirely. They still lived in Nashville but they all got their own house. Dani and Amy were neighbors while Lisa and Lauren lived on the far outskirts of Nashville. Christina still lived in the same house the girls lived in back in 2015 and Katherine moved to a quiet cottage by a farmer's market area.

Now as we start the story from here, it goes a little something like this.

Dani was the last to buy a house of the girls and she was chilling playing her guitar as she was furthering her music career. She got a knock from her neighbor. Her sister Amy paid her a visit. Dani said, 'Hi Ames.' Amy replied, 'Hey bestie.' Dani said, 'Bestie? But, I'm your sister.' Well apparently in Amy's mind she thought Dani was her best friend. Dani feeling confused asked if Amy was alright. Amy was a schoolteacher at Nashville Elementary School. Dani asked how teaching was going and Amy said, 'Good. The kids are calling me by my first name rather than Miss Cimorelli. I've had people as young as 3 come up to me and say, 'Hi Amy.' 'Wow' Dani added. What Amy didn't mention is that she still wants to be a musician, but she's got writer's block. She's only written 1 song in the last 2 years. She wants Dani's help to find her spark back.

Nearby at a studio, Katherine Cimorelli was doing ballet. The teacher was pleased with how everyone was doing in class except for two people. Katherine and her best friend Alexis. They were doing alright but not up to par. Katherine stepped up as well as Alexis. While Katherine was soaring in her 2nd attempt, Alexis was lagging further behind. Then came On The Radio and Katherine was even more driven, while Alexis just couldn't get it together. The teacher announced who the 8 best dancers were in the class and would go to regional. Needless to say Katherine was disappointed she and Alexis just missed the cut. Katherine took it hard but Alexis took it even harder. Just then, one of the 8 dancers who made the cut suddenly broke her foot and would be sidelined. The teacher had to find a replacement. Katherine was ready to go for it, but she noticed how broken Alexis was. Was she gonna deny Alexis this opportunity?

At the edge of town, Lisa was designing a studio. 'Put the planks over there.' she told one of the construction workers. Nearby was Lauren as she was training her students. They were doing yellow belt training when she heard a racket. It was the construction going on. Lauren approached the work site and told the group to quiet down. Lisa said, 'Sorry Lauren, we're on a deadline here. We fell way behind.' Lauren nodded in disgust and went back to her class. On The Radio just came on as the class resumed. Lauren remembered that day....

As for Christina, she was working at a nearby radio station. Yes she is part of the CMT radio family. Guess what she played? Yep, On The Radio. It was not a country song but since Christina was hosting her block, she could play what she wanted to her choosing.

So everyone was rocking out to On The Radio, the song that helped prove to be a starting point for Cimorelli.

Amy and Dani would do some jam sessions together before Amy did her teacher thing. Driving in her car she was on her way. Dani got back to writing songs for her 1st solo album.

So everyone was living their lives as normal except that they kept hearing On The Radio ever half hour, reminiscing about the memories they had. So what did they do weeks later?

The same things they're doing right now, listening to On The Radio and thinking back of the good old days.

2023

It had been 6 years since Cimorelli recorded a song as a group. Christina invited a special guest to her radio show...HER SISTERS! And then Christina made a huge announcement that would stun all.

WE'RE DOING A NEW COVER VIDEO LIVE FOR YOU! ~Christina shouted.

Yep that's right, Cimorelli returned to group action. They went to the white wall.

Hey I'm Christina
I'm Katherine
I'm Lisa
I'm Amy
I'm Lauren
I'm Dani
And we're Cimorelli

Christina said, 'Before you ask we are not coming back yet as a group. We're doing a cover for you all as a token of our appreciation. And that is Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw. This goes out to the late country singer who died this year. [Fanfiction remember] Tim, you will be missed dude.'

After the performance, Christina got back to work on her show and chatted with her sisters. But then a thought struck Dani. She said, 'Girls, my solo music career is not going well. I missed being with you all. Shall we reunite?'

Much to Dani's chagrin, the girls did not reform the band. Not yet at least. Then Katherine gave up on ballet, Lisa decided to retire from her architect job, Amy left her teaching job and Lauren finished her teaching stint as an instructor. As for Christina well, she stayed on as a radio DJ

The band would finally reform on June 25th, 2023. Dani, now 23 decided to make the statement official. 'I want to be band leader.' Dani yelled. 'I want to do On The Radio.' So for the next few months they went to various locations and brought their little radio with them playing, yep...'On The Radio.' This one they brought was special, because it also included You're Worth It as well. With this radio by their side, they brought smiles to everyone.

December 25, 2023

6 months later, Cimorelli would shoot their next video. This would be a new version of Let It Go they did. Then they followed up with another video, which would be their last---

as a band--

for the year.

LOL

Cimorelli would come back ready for 2024. They would receive an award nomination for Best Pop Song for On The Radio. Shocked, Amy said, 'WAIT! A song we recorded 16 years ago is up for Best Pop Song?! GOALS!'

Cimorelli would not win that award however, but they did get 2 awards for Best Band and Best Female Artist. Dani smiled, 'We did it.' It made Dani and the band so happy to have achieve a big award like this. It would have been sweeter if they won for On The Radio, which they brought to the gala.

Amy played the radio and the music got everyone dancing. This is the life
