But let's not get ahead of ourselves, we have a story to finish.
PART 4 [THERE IS INTENSE THEMES IN THIS CHAPTER!]
There it was, Lauren Carmichael standing face to face with Amy Morrison, her sister who has made her life miserable. Lauren with a rage wanted to slap her in the face but Amy said, 'Wait.' Lauren said, 'NO! Were you behind this?!' Amy said, 'Hold on pal, I can explain--' Lauren slapped Amy in the face and Amy then yelled saying, 'I guess I have to really explain a lot don't I?' Lauren yelled, 'YES!' Boy was Amy in trouble now.
And now one was to wonder, was Amy the evil one or was Lauren the evil one? It was at that point that the family had become very divided.
[QUICK NOTE:Yes even though the Cimorelli sisters are married, only Lauren's husband and kids are mentioned and neither of the other sisters' families are]
Amy explained, 'I've hated you because you betrayed this family, but I feel that I might I have gone a little too far--' Lauren stopped and she said, 'Wait. I BETRAYED THE FAMILY!?' TELL ME HOW!?' Amy stammered saying, 'Well, Dani hates you and Katherine is hesitant about you. Dani thinks you killed Lisa and cheated on her husband.' Lauren's Skyscraper was really shaking and then she attacked Amy beating her up like crazy. Suddenly a brawl was escalating. Dani had entered Lauren's house and rushed to see what was going on, then jumped on Lauren and slugged her. Lauren said, 'DANI?! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!' Dani yelled, 'We have to find a way to come together as a family.' Lauren yelled, 'But Amy made this accusation--' Dani cut her off, 'I know you're upset, but we must come united. We know this is not what Lisa wants'. Amy added, 'I agree with Dani.' Lauren not having any of it, stormed out of her own house. She had already seen her family devastated and of course her sisters going off on her, and now this was happening. And just like that her Skyscraper crumbled to the ground, as did her body as she then collapsed to the ground crying. Christina and Katherine ran past her and Lauren realized, she was suddenly feeling alone. But she had to figure a way to stay strong.
*THE NEXT DAY*
Lauren was back at work, not feeling as motivated as before. Her assistant came saying, 'Lauren, you should go home. You don't look OK.' Lauren said, 'My family's devastated, my house is a mess, my sisters hate me, where else can I go?' He left and Lauren got back to work, struggling to keep it together.
It just wasn't happening. She knew she had to get back to doing what she loves, but if nobody is there for her, then what was the point? She remembered an old tweet her sister Dani posted about being successful. But what good would that do?
So after work she clocked out and headed to what's left of her home. She sat on her steps and started to sing acapella. As she was singing, she kept getting teary-eyed. 'It's just not coming, my Skyscraper is destroyed. And now my family is also likely dead. I have nobody left!' Then she remembered the song her band did Good Enough, and using all her energy, she sang that song with a ton of conviction. Feeling exhausted, she collapsed again. Then suddenly she saw Amy and Dani reappear along with Christina and Katherine. They said to Lauren, 'Are you OK?' Lauren feeling exhausted said nothing.
Hours passed and Lauren was still exhausted. She then mumbled, 'I..want..to..sing..my..song.' The rest of the sisters then remembered, 'Wait, aren't we musicians?' They remembered that they have to stay strong for Lisa. Amy was reluctant to forgive Lauren as was Dani, but Katherine and Christina understood what Lauren was struggling with.
Amy & Dani forgave Lauren shortly after.
Little too late though, as Lauren was overwhelmed.
She then became ill as well.
Whatever was left of Lauren's personal Skyscraper had disintegrated into smithereens.
*Months later*
The pressure had become too much for Lauren Carmichael. After waking up, she walked to the graveyard and noticed her deceased husband and children were buried. This sent Lauren over the edge.
Lauren noticed a blade laying nearby. She walked up to it
She was so tempted to self-harm herself after what she believes, losing everything.
But then
*BZZZZZZZT*
EEEEEEK
'OMG! I'M DEAD! I'M DEAD! I'M---huh?'
Lauren maybe realizing it was just a bad dream was startled when Amy woke her up. Amy said, 'Lauren, band meeting. let's go!' But Lauren said, 'Amy? I thought you hated me? And Lisa's husband?!' Amy said, 'Husband? Dude she's 22! The only one of us who has a boyfriend is Christina OK? Now come on, stop slacking!' Then Lauren realized it was definitely a dream.
Phew, was what Lauren was thinking.
*Years later*
Cimorelli did end up being successful and Lauren had begun work as a businesswoman. That wasn't a dream, that really happened.
And then she just randomly started singing Skyscraper on repeat.
