Arguably 1D's biggest hit and it was their debut single, also one of Cimorelli's most popular covers. This story takes place in 2014, this song is track #4 on their CimFam EP.
I have a few ideas for this, but I'm gonna go with this one I decided on because it fit this song best.

With Cimorelli's career at a crossroads, the girls scrambled to come up with ideas. They had wrapped up their run with the Made In America EP and now were getting ready to release their first set of covers in 2014 in the hopes of keeping the good things going. But, plans were derailed when a shocking announcement happened. One producer said, 'To be able to succeed, you must become solo artists. The band is not working out' and then he turned to Amy, 'You suck, goodbye. Don't do business here anymore.' That broke Amy so hard. The producer then started to tell people that Amy is a terrible person and they started to believe him. Amy then ran away and bolted all the way home, locking herself in her room crying. She was devastated beyond belief and got ready to self-harm. With nobody in sight, she opened her window and was ready to jump. But then a voice came to her saying, 'Dude, don't do this please.' Amy said, 'WHY?!' The voice said, 'Because you're valuable.' She added, 'No I'm not, everyone is saying that I am a bad influence. Why should I live?' The voice said, 'They are liars. Don't believe them. Just ignore them.' She then added, 'But who tells me to not listen to them?' Low and behold it was Harry Styles of One Direction who was in town. Amy was then, 'OMG HARRY?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!' Harry told her, 'Amy, your charm is amazing and everyone loves you. Don't listen to what the doubters say. You are a genuine person,' he continued, 'That's What Makes You Beautiful.'
Feeling unsure of herself, she took Harry's advice and decided to return to where she bolted from. Not soon after, Harry was following her to make sure she was OK. When Amy returned to where her sisters were, the girls were happy to see her return, but Amy's joy turned to disgust as she started to see people post all kinds of mean things about her. Trying to shake it off she kept pushing ahead and kept repeating Harry's words, 'You are a genuine person, that's What Makes You Beautiful.' But as she, her sisters and Harry kept walking ahead, the mean messages grew rampant, going to as far as saying that if Amy doesn't leave the band, she would have nightmares for the rest of her life. Her sisters and Harry were singing What Makes You Beautiful while Amy was trying to tune out the mean messages, but she couldn't do it, and bolted again. This really annoyed Dani especially. She and Lisa raced for her but Amy said, 'Don't follow!'
Some of the people saying the mean messages said things like, 'Amy is ugly, she is talent-less', 'Amy is annoying', 'Shorty can't sing a lick', 'Why is Amy in the band? She doesn't sing well', and one that bothered her in particular, 'She deserves to be bullied.' That really pissed her off. Amy then started to believe the mean messages were true. She then tried and reminded herself again of what Harry said to her, but more and more she believed the hate more than the love. It got to the point where she pretty much forgot what Harry said.
She went into a major state of depression, locking herself in her room for weeks. Christina and Katherine were forced to sleep in another room since she, Kath and Christina shared a room.
A month passed and Amy still didn't leave her room, continuing to believe the mean messages were true. At that point it felt like her sisters turned on her. Pretty much nobody believed in her anymore because she kept focusing on the negative. It got so bad that when she left her room to go to the bathroom she heard Dani whisper, 'Amy is a lost cause.' It really was looking grim for Amy as she needed to find a way to shake it off and remind herself that she is indeed beautiful. But then a thought hit her.
'If I continue to doubt myself, I will continue to let negativity creep in for the rest of my life.' So she went to the mirror and saw her reflection, and her reflection talked to her saying, 'Dude, be strong. You're an amazing all-around person. You are so genuine and caring, that's What Makes You Beautiful. You're my hero.' Having been reminded that, she shook off the doubt and went back to her room, but again heard Dani whisper in the background. Feeling like she was being spooked, she investigated and noticed it was Dani saying, 'Be strong.' Wasn't it just moments ago that Dani said Amy was a lost cause? Amy approached Dani saying, 'I let my doubts get to me again. I got to stop doing that.' Dani smiled when she heard Amy say that. Amy added, 'So nobody's mad at me?' Dani said, 'They got mad because you let doubt get into your mind again. You let negativity cloud your judgement. You honestly need to stop that. We're here for you.' Amy with a frown said, 'OK.'
So the girls returned to where they were a month ago before Amy got criticized and saw the same producer who lashed at her. He said, 'Amy, the main reason I lashed at you is because you let your negative thoughts ruin the band flow. Shake it off, or you must go solo.' Feeling annoyed, Amy wanted to bolt yet again, but Dani said, 'No Amy. Don't.'
Amy sucked it up and said, 'Fine. Let's go.'
The producer said, 'Good. Let's do this.'
Feeling reassured that nobody was mad at her, Amy felt focused and the band got back to work on more songs. As for Amy she reminded herself, 'You're amazing all-around, that's What Makes You Beautiful.'

A/N:This story I had an idea for one direction I wanted to go in, but I sort of changed it midway through because I had a stronger idea for it. Here's the finished product. Thoughts?
