Five days after she had left, Beca was returning home to Chloe. After the brunette left the hotel and got in her car, she tried numerous times to ring Chloe to let her know that she was coming back, but she couldn't get an answer. Eventually, she gave up on calling, and just continued to drive.
The journey on the motorway was a long and tiresome one, and she craved the bliss of sleeping in her own bed. As she drove along lit roads in the dark cover of night, the radio was playing one of her latest mixes; the DJ often listened to her material in the car as a way of judging how it would sound for listeners on the radio. The next track on the CD featured a song that someone very special introduced her to. A year ago, Chloe mentioned 'Headlights' by Robin Schulz, and Beca quickly fell in love with the chilled out vibes of it.
When the track resounded through the speakers, Beca sighed and thought about how much she longed to see Chloe- how much she needed to hug her again. Still, she was getting closer and closer to her destination, so she wouldn't have to wait much longer.

Putting her keys in the front door, Beca pulled a suspicious face as she heard more than one voice within the house, and noticed an extra vehicle parked outside. As quietly as possible, she tip-toed into house, closing the door carefully behind her with one finger. After a few seconds of standing still, she figured that an argument of some sort was taking place in the lounge, so she paid more attention to the words being said to work out who the culprits were.'Why would you invite me here unless you wanted me back? You're not even worth the trouble'
'I don't want you back! I want to ask you where you got those pictures of me from'
The culprits were Riley and Chloe.
Beca's blood pressure began to creep up as she rolled her eyes and prepared herself to hear more frustrating remarks from the two.
'You don't deserve to know. You're a skank, Chloe'
Tightening her fists and attempting to steady her shallow breathing, Beca stood menacingly by the door, her shoulders arched and her face frowning.
'How can you talk to me like that? After all we've been through...', Chloe cried under her breath, barely audible.
'Because you mean nothing to me. I can cheat on you over and over and over- I don't feel a thing!', Riley shouted evilly.
'You didn't ch-ch- you didn't do that'
'I screwed Hannah the night after Valentine's, and Mia the week after that...'
Beca was growing angrier by the second, and Chloe could now distinctly be heard crying.
'Stop...', she pleaded.
'I'm sure your little girlfriend will comfort you'
'Leave her out of this!', Chloe suddenly exploded, 'You know how much I love her!'
'She hasn't realised yet how much of a whore you really are'
At the flick of a switch and as rapid as the speed of light, Beca flew like a raging bull towards the lounge, not caring what obstacles could come her way. Throwing the door to the room open with a dramatic bang, she made Riley and Chloe jump at the noise.
'Speak of the dev-'
Beca interrupted the boy with a hard shove to the chest. Riley who wasn't particularly tall and only stood a couple of inches taller than the girl, looked taken aback. Chloe meanwhile, stood open-mouthed in shock.
'I suggest you get the fuck out of our house', the brunette shouted- she was taking no prisoners with her attitude and steely glare.
'What are you gonna do if I don't?'
