'Are you nearly done?', asked Chloe, hugging Beca from behind as the girl sorted laundry into piles.
'That depends if you want me to do a good job or not'
'I want my girlfriend all to myself for the rest of today'
'Oh yeah?', grinned Beca, still occupied with the task she'd been given.
'I want to take my girlfriend out to treat her for being so perfect'
'You're a cheeseball', sighed Beca, placing one of her favourite lace, red shirts of Chloe's in its own pile, 'But I won't say no to a treat'
Noticing the placement of the shirt, Chloe teased, 'Hey, you remembered to keep it separate this time'. This was a reference to the last batch of laundry that Beca had taken care of; her delicate, black lace underwear had been destroyed in the spin cycle.
'I'm being extra careful for you'
As Beca picked up a pair of jeans from the table in front of her, Chloe's arms slid further around her waist to steal the clothing away, dropping it on the floor.
'Dude, don't ask me to do something if you won't let me do it', joked the DJ, looking down at the discarded jeans.
Upping her game, the redhead left two kisses on Beca's neck whilst swaying their hips ever-so-slightly. She breathed warmly on her skin, 'I don't care about the laundry anymore'
It only took the kisses to persuade Beca, and she quickly purred, 'Mm, suddenly neither do I'
'So where do you want us to go today?'
Feeling as if her legs may give way if Chloe's lips didn't stop hovering so near her neck, Beca replied, 'Upstairs wouldn't be a bad idea'
Playfully gasping then giggling at the remark, Chloe said, 'We can save that for later'. After turning Beca around to face her, she held the girl's hands and asked, 'Seriously though, where do you wanna go? I was thinking about the ice rink...'
'Aubrey's cousin works there, Chlo'
'Oh shoot. Um, what about...'
'We could visit that cute little bakery you like on 5th', suggested Beca, before correcting herself with, 'But we might run into Stacey on the way there'
'Bowling alley?'
'Maybe...I guess there's still a risk we might see someone we know though'
A few seconds of sighs and thoughtful pouts later, Chloe spoke, 'It sucks that we have to sneak around- I can't wait to tell the girls so that we don't have to'
Giving her a kiss on the cheek, the brunette admitted, 'Believe me, I want us to go out together without worrying about being seen'
Chloe, who had vowed she wouldn't tell the Bellas about their official status until they were all together and they could hear a proper explanation, replied guiltily, 'Sorry, Beca, I just want them to find out in the right way'
'Who said I was asking for an apology? Don't worry- I get it', smiled Beca, in a genuinely understanding, soft manner.
In response, the redhead pulled her into a grateful hug, and the two of them shared an embrace while the DJ offered up an idea for the day.
'Let's just drive as far away as possible until we come across something fun to do. No one will recognise us or know us, and we can relax'
'Sounds perfect', beamed Chloe, tucking her head in as closely as she could, and squeezing Beca like she never wanted to let go. She did let go, however, with a calm sigh. 'I love you', she added, placing a quick kiss on Beca's lips before she turned to head for the stairs.
