"Sokka!" The figure hollered. Toph was too focused on eating her food to notice the person, getting closer. It was Suki. "Sokka, long time no see. Hello Toph!" She said. Toph stopped eating, after she heard her voice.
"Uhhhh, hi Suki." He replied back while searching the back of his head. Toph felt his heart go faster, as he was having his conversation with Suki. Toph felt like she was just a drag for Sokka, because he still likes her. She also felt like she was just standing in the way between them.

Sokka's P.O.V:
I was talking to Suki, and my heart sped up. I had no idea why because I'm over Suki, but I still really wanted to talk to her. It's pretty embarrassing, because I know Toph can feel my heartbeat right now. I was about to end my conversation with Suki, when I felt Toph bolt up behind me. "Hey meathead, I'll leave you two to catch up. If you need me I'll be back at the house." She said after I turned around. She put on a smile. I know that smile, it was her fake smile. I looked at her eyes, it seemed that they had tears in them. She was about to leave, but without thinking I grabbed her hand.
