Chapter 9: Events Before The Date

Normal P.O.V:

Sokka woke up before Toph. He slept on the couch again. Luckily Toph never questioned him about it. He decided to make breakfast. Just when he was about to be finished cooking, Toph came down stairs.

"Morning, Meathead." She said as she stretched.

"Morning Toph."

"What's for breakfast?"

"Eggs, bacon, and rice."

*A/N: Don't judge. This is practically my usual breakfast.*

"Yum!"

There was an awkward silence as they ate. Sokka was very deep in thought, and then remembered what he did the other night. Luckily Toph didn't notice, because the chair was wood, and her feet couldn't really touch the ground.

*A/N: Lol shortie! I actually shouldn't be saying that since I'm pretty short myself...*

"Um, hey Toph?"

"Yeah?" Toph said with a mouth full of rice.

"Have you ever kissed anyone?" She had a confused look on her face

"Well that was random. But no. I have never kissed anyone. I know, it's pretty pathetic since I'm already 17. Unless you count that time I kissed Suki on the cheek when I was drowning." She chuckled.

"Oh" Was all he could say.

Sokka's P.O.V:

'Crap! What's wrong author you, Sokka? You took her first kiss and she doesn't even know!' I thought.

I was so embarrassed. I count face her. I quickly ate my breakfast, and told Toph I'd be going to the market.

Going around the market gave me some time to think, and calm myself. I walked around the city, then decided to go back. I bought a few stuff from the market, I thought of cooking roasted duck for tomorrow. I bet Toph would love that.

When I got back, it was already 6:00 p.m. I got to the house but I couldn't find Toph anywhere. I looked at the backyard, but she wasn't there either. I decided to leave her alone, and decided to get dressed.

I got my clothes and went to the bathroom to shower. I opened the door, and saw Toph sitting in the bathtub, bending a small piece of rock. Her hair was up in a bun, but I couldn't see her body, since the surface if the water was covered in bubbles. She probably couldn't sense me since she was in water. I quickly shut the door, my face bright scarlet.

I waited for her to finish, so I could got ready. She got out a few minutes later, wearing a bath towel. I couldn't help but look down. I mentally slapped myself for being a pervert, and looked away.

"Oh Snoozles I didn't realize you came back. Sorry if I took too long." She said.

"N-no it's f-fine."

"Um are you ok? Your heartbeat is going really fast."

"Y-yeah I'm good" I quickly got in the bathroom, to stop staring at her, and also before I embarrass myself even more.

Normal P.O.V:

Sokka watched as she walked away. She swayed her hips, and he count help but just stare. Sokka felt his member growing, so he went and took a cold shower to help calm him down. *A/N: I'm not sure if that's how you can stop a boner, because I've never had one, or have a penis, so idk plz ignore my stupidity* He got dressed in his usual sleeveless top, pants, and of course his trusty boomerang, and sword. He made some noodle soup with pork for Toph. Sokka checked the time. It was 6:50 p.m. He was about to leave when someone called him.

"Where are you going Snoozles?" Toph asked. She was already wearing he pajamas.

"Oh um, well I was supposed to tell you this later, but I'm going on a date with Suki tonight." Sokka replied.

"Ok then, have fun" Toph said, her voice slightly cracking. And with that Sokka left.
