Dear Amelia,
I saw you on my way to class one day. You were walking hand in hand with your boyfriend. You looked so happy.
I walked on my own, until someone pushed me onto the ground, it was crowded so I didn't who it was. You helped me up and smiled at me.
I like your smiles... I bet your boyfriend does too.
You told me your name was Amelia, I didn't want to seem like a stalker so I didn't say that I already knew that. I said my name was Emmett.
We walked to class together, your boyfriend had gone before I fell as he had a different class. You didn't know but we had most of our classes together but not many people noticed me anyway.
You noticed me.
In fact, you sat to me in that class. I hated the fact that I'm pretty sure you pitied me but I'll take what I can get. When the teacher wasn't looking you passed me a note:
"Hi"
I smiled at you and you smiled back, I quickly scribbled onto the note and passed it back to you.
"Hi"
This continued on for a while so to save time I shall transcribe this conversation:
"What's your favorite colour, Emmett?"
"Green"
"Why?"
"I don't know"
"Why?"
"Why not?"
"Good point"
At that moment when I was deciding how I would propose to you the teacher looked over.
She asked you what the answer was and you answered without skipping a beat. She scowled and gave us both detention anyway. You smiled at me again.
I like your smiles.
