I chased after you that day. I needed to see you.
You walked up and down streets, almost pacing.
I walked with you. You didn't protest.
After walking for a very long time, I stopped you.
"Why is the gleam gone Amelia?"
You looked empty, like you couldn't speak.
You looked confused so I tried to better explain myself.
"The gleam in your eyes, you always look like you have a secret and it.. it just glows."
"I do have a secret," you replied.
