The rapid scratching of the pencil was music to his ears. Work was being done. Progress. Sure, it took a while, but it was better than nothing. After his hand cramped up, he set the pencil down, putting his head down. A smirk ghosted against his lips. Progress...

"Kevin, are you done with the blueprints?" Lifting his head, Kevin looked toward his doorway. Equipped with a black and white lab coat with black and white jeans, Steven stood in the doorway. Steven was smiling, and the whole room seemed as if it was as bright as him.

The dreary office barely got any sunlight, Kevin preferred keeping a lamp. The red walls were intimidating, and papers were everywhere. With his short brown hair and milky brown eyes, the air was lighter.

Of course, Kevin wouldn't admit it.

"Fuck, you asked me like 30 minutes ago. It'll be done, I just have to get this last part done." Kevin complained. He was in a white button down with black slacks- comfortable clothes.

Steven shifted nervously. "Yeah, but I've just been getting anxious. They've already seen us-" "That doesn't mean they'll catch us." They were talking about an opposing force. The Creatures (and friends). While they used to be best friends with many of them, politics and work got in the way. They drifted apart, and now they were practically in a nuclear war. Under the authorities nose, of course.

It was just between a few of each gangs members, but it blew up. Allies got involved, and others chose sides. Some were indifferent. It was a mess. "Hm, whatever you say," Steven sounded unconvinced. "I'll be in the bio lab."

Steven and Kevin founded a base deep in a rural area in Montana (with forest all around), and they house their allies as well. In their base, they had many areas to test newfound weapons. Steven handled technology and science, Kevin handled blueprints (for easier things), assassination, and battle strategy . He was notorious for poaching, too.

Steven walked off, his wolf mask strapped to the back of his head. Waiting for him to be gone, Kevin pulled out a sleek black phone, and dialed a number. Ringing a few times, he answered. "Hey, Chilled, did you get him yet?" A bit of crackling, but he came through. "Not very good signal here, sorry. Yeah, he's on the way back. I don't think they've noticed yet, though I'd give them a few hours. We'll be there in about 20 minutes, thanks for the jet!" "No problem." Kevin hung up.

Chilled was an expert at... Well, being diabolical. His real name was Anthony, but he preferred Chilled Chaos, as it was an old nickname. Kevin sent out Chilled yesterday to get a very important piece of bait- Immortal, or Aleks. Kevin never heard of him, until it became apparent that many were loyal to Aleks. Funding was needed for the biology section of the base, so why not?

Kevin spent his waiting time working on his plans. They were going to build the best, most badass nuke ever. Steven almost finished the blueprint, but gave it to Kevin to finish. It just needed a few more details, and...

Kevin's door slammed open, catching him by surprise. Jumping up, he looked behind him quickly. Chilled stood there, before chuckling and moving out of the way. Chilled was pulling his prisoner along by the chains that bound his arms. Eyes covered, a gag in his mouth, and chains scaling all around his body. "Take him to my meeting room." Chilled nodded, and headed off with the prisoner.

Waiting for them to leave, Kevin sprung up. Running out of the room, down the hall, he rushed into his room. He wanted to look cool for this. Putting on a black fedora (that didn't look stupid), black suit, and black pants, he waltzed out of the room. The half Asian walked calmly across the building. On the way there, he pulled Steven out of the bio lab. They both headed to the meeting room.

Since they both owned the place, they both answered to issues like this. They both got to the meeting room. It was a dark room, no sunlight being let in. Burgundy walls, spruce wood floors, and sitting furniture laced with fancy velvet cushions. Kevin took out a small revolver, Steven took out a remote control. They were alone in the room, besides their guest.
