Days passed. Aleks was sure he'd gone to hell- a bit earlier than he'd expected, to be honest. He would repeatedly pass out from pain, only to have an angry Steven jolt him awake. This... In easier terms, sucked.

He sat on the padded chair, chains fastened around his arms and legs. He sat Indian-style (the chains were loose enough for him to do that), and stared at his feet. Any second now, all hell that is named Steven would burst into this room, excitedly talking about chemicals and biology. Sometimes, Aleks thought he was an okay guy. Then Steven would start experimenting.

Aleks looked down at his body. Scars, cuts, and bruises lined up all around his torso, making him look like Frankenstein v.2.

Suddenly, the door bust open. Steven stood there, but this time, he looked like he'd just gotten up. His clothes were wrinkled, the buttons on his shirt were not fully done, and his brown hair stuck up in some places. He looked sleep deprived, with a coffee mug in his hand. Steven took a chair from his desk and plopped down next to Aleks's.

Aleks was shocked. Steven was never imperfect when it came to tidiness- well, that's what he guessed.

"You look fucking horrible," Aleks said bluntly. Steven looked at him, eyes slightly pink. He didn't seem in the mood to do anything today. "Glad you noticed," he muttered. He took a sip from his coffee, and sighed. "Look, Aleks. Kevin called your friends, they were worried, blah blah," Steven took out a note from his pocket, "Eddie- er, Sly- said that you had to hang in there. Nova- James, I mean- called you an idiot for getting caught..." Steven droned on, but Aleks wasn't listening. A tiny glimmer of hope surged through him, and he knew that his friends cared.

Steven finished, and tossed the paper in the trash. He sat there for a second before taking another sip. He seriously looked terrible. Aleks was worried about his torturer... Wait, what? Aleks knew it was weird as hell too.

"Uh, look, man..." Aleks looked away from Steven, "did you have a rough night or something?" It was an innocent enough question, but Steven shot him a glare- just before breaking down. He put his heads in his hands, shoulders shaking in silent sobs. Steven was close enough for Aleks to awkwardly pat him on the shoulder.

Steven sniffled. "Kevin... Kevin and I..." His lips tightened into a thin line. "Our relationship is complicated, okay? And it's for stupid reasons, things that shouldn't make me upset-" Aleks pulled Steven into a hug (he had to strain one of his arms just to get the chains to extend farther). Steven stood completely still. Not returning the hug, he stood up. Giving the chained Russian an icy smile, he walked over to his desk. Even with tears in his eyes, he was terrifying.

No, with his misshapen clothes and hair, he was more terrifying than usual.

What Steven said next both chilled and shocked Aleks.

"I'm going to call in Chilled to take care of you. What he's going to do won't hurt... Well, you. I've set up the stuff for him... And, thanks." Not looking at the Russian, he walked out of the room. Aleks swore the room dropped 10 degrees when he left.

A few minutes later, another guy came in. He looked nervous, with messy hair and untidy papers in his hands. He was a bit taller than Steven.

"Hey, uh... Aleks, right?" Aleks nodded, and suddenly Chilled straightened out. It was if he had a confidence change within seconds.

"Well, Aleks, you won't be feeling this right away. However, it will eventually occur to you what we've diabolically done to you. Don't worry, you'll still know the necessities. You'll know your name. You'll recognize faces- however, you won't remember WHY. Oh, this is great, really!" He narrated, mostly to himself. He gave Immortal the chills, with his strange, speedy voice.
