Coldness stung at his face, wind whistling past him. He had no idea where he was. White snow surrounded him, dark green trees in the distance. There was a frozen lake in the corner of his vision, and a wooden cabin in the distance. He sat there, shivering. The coldness traveled along his metal arm, making his shoulder sting. Aleks was in the hospital gown he was in before.

Everything went black. He didn't know what happened after Steven left. The security cameras suddenly exploded, then had filled the room. And he just woke up in the snow. Forcing himself up, his muscles screamed at him. 'Sit down! Fall down! Sleep in the snow, get rest!' Suddenly, someone grabbed at his arms. He kicked his feet in surprise, only to have brown eyes meet him. The guy rounded so he was in front of Aleks (squatting), but still holding him down.

"Remember me?" He asked, a slight smirk on his face.

Aleks frowned. The guy looked like he was in his early 20s (well, he could have been 18 or 19). His hair was brown and a bit shorter than Aleks's, with wide brown eyes to match. His eyebrows were thick, and he had a grey beanie on (along with other general snow wear).

"Uh... Yeah, no. Sorry dude." Aleks muttered. The smirk from the other didn't falter. "I'm Jake." It was as if gears were going on in his head. Aleks was sure that Jake was familiar, but just couldn't decide where he met him before. His past was blank, gone.

"Let's get you inside. Sorry that I left you out here, our landing wasn't so smooth and I had to warn the other guys."

Aleks felt as if he shouldn't trust Jake. He had no idea where he was, why he was there, or what they were going to be doing to him. But he couldn't risk being thrown out into the cold and freezing to death.

"Sure, it's fine."

Jake picked Immortal up gingerly, but roughly positioned him to be carried bridal style. Aleks was about to protest, but he remembered how cold he was. So he just shut up and let himself be carried.

The cabin was maybe three stories, made completely out of wood. You could see light coming from a fireplace inside, making it feel warm and welcoming. But he started to panic as they began up the stairs leading to the door. Jake noticed.

"Hey, calm down. They're nice." His voice was practically magic, because Aleks tried his best not to squirm. Jake kicked open the door, and the aroma of cinnamon and apples practically suffocated Aleks. They were in a huge living room, comfortable white couches around a fire place. The walls had vintage wallpaper, but a huge flat screen TV was over the fire place. Only one person was on the couch, and they were on a phone.

"Hey, Sparklez, get up." Jake called. The person on the couch yelped, and turned around, startled.

"Hey, that was a long time ago. My name is Jordan!" Jordan protested.

"Immortal, meet the Captain of all Sparklez... CaptainSparklez." "Jordan!" "Okay, fine, Jordan."

Jordan waved, then went back to his phone.

"Let's go." Jake mused, pulling Aleks along. He pulled him into a kitchen, and sat him down on the counter to warm up. Jake then began to take stuff out of a pantry- was that pasta?

"Uh, who exactly was that guy back there?" Jake began boiling water. "Oh, that's Jordan. We're... Doing business with him. He'll only be here until tomorrow." Jake took a seat next to Immortal on the counter, and stared at the boiling water.

"Is there anyone else here?" "For now, yeah. I mean, I'm part of a group, but they haven't moved up here yet." Aleks nodded silently, and they sat quietly. Finally, Jake got off the counter and poured the pasta into the pot. He stirred.
