Goodbye's And Regrets

Never knew this was going to happen;

never knew about this is where we'll stand.

You always said you'll be the shoulder I'll cry on,

but look here I am in the dark corner with no shoulder to cry on.

What were all those promises we made, under those stars?

What about those  dreams we saw?

You said our love would be forever and ever,

did you forget?

All those moments and precious memories,

did they ever meant something to you?

What about all those promises?

Were all those promises, I kept holding onto,  just lies?

The last message I got from you,

something different I sensed .

But never knew when you said you were going,

you actually were .

You promised you'll reply,

promising to return.

I open my phone in the hope to see your message,

but disappointed is how I'm left.

Now I am here reading our old texts,

remembering all those amazing and precious moments.

Who knew these once beautiful moments ,

would be left as haunting memories, only as our past?

You were always the reason to my smile,

now all you are is the reason for these tears .

Did you have to come in my life ,

just to leave me like this?

You were the one who joined me, when I was broken,

Now I'm scattered again, this time because of you.

Now I'm left in this corner

surrounded with only regrets.

Now I regret loving you so much,

regretting putting my believe and trust in you.

Now I regret giving you each and every piece of me, 

just to be broken once again.

Here I am with these broken pieces,

no one to reach to, nor  talk to.

Did you have to leave,

did you?

I couldn't get a chance, but now here you go I say it,

"Goodbye!"

Goodbye forever,

 From my life but not from my mind.

I know you left me but its still going to be really hard to forget you,

but I will,  for I have too.

Goodbye my friend, goodbye

For here  I sit here with your haunting memories.
