Good Bye Poems

A new beginning

I smile as I stand
Finally the huge door open
Revealing an angel in a white dress
An angel holding those flowers

Today's a day for a new beginning
For you, for me
You take slow steps forward
As that beautiful smile appears on your face

I look at you
Admiring each and every beautiful feature of yours
Just as beautiful you look
As the first day I met you

I stand there in my suit
All dressed up today
Today's a day for a new beginning
For you, for me

You walk and then stop
The priest begins to say the words
Words which bond ones forever
Bonding them forever together

Tears of happiness form in your eyes
As he wipes them away
Tears form in my eyes too
But no one's there, for me , wipe them

He stands there beside you
As I stand among the crowd
"I declare you as husband and wife"
Oh how I wish I was the one ,not him

I turn around
Finally letting that forced smile go
I walk out of the doors
Finally letting the breath I was holding

Today's a day for a new beginning
For you, for me
Today you found the love of your life
And today I lost mine

How was your day? Tell me all about it, I would love to know :) So this is just like most of my Poems a narrating poem and even though I use the simplest vocabulary I hope I was able to create that whole scene in your mind and I really hope you liked it and if you didn't let me know if I could improve anything!
