"You want a fry?" I ask and hold one up.
"Oh, now you want to share?" He asks with a smirk.
"I figured I'd offer so you don't make me throw them all over the restaurant," I respond and he chuckles. He opens his mouth and I slide the French fry in. He chews and I take a bite of my burger.
"You're cute when you eat," he says shyly.
"That's a weird thing to say," I tell him.
"Yeah, but you aren't too messy, and you take really tiny bites," He points out.
I shrug and look around. I see a few girls from school. I know Morgan and Dani. This diner is a small family owned place and I usually run into people from school when I eat here.
"Are you about done?" Noah asks at the end of our meal.
"Yup, let's go," I say and wipe my face with a napkin. He counts his cash and leaves a tip on the table for the waiter. We stand up and he wraps an arm around my hip before we walk out the door.
"I hope you had fun tonight," he says nervously.
"I had a great time," I assure him by pressing a kiss to his jaw. I honestly did have fun. Noah was very playful the entire date and I am looking forward to the next one.
I lean against the car and he places a hand on my arm and the other on my face. I tilt my head forward and he leans in close to my face but pauses to talk.
"I don't normally kiss on the first date," he whispers and his sweet breath dances on my nose. He smells like the milkshake he was drinking.
"I think we can make an exception," I say and fist his shirt to pull him into a kiss. When our lips touch the same feeling rushes over my skin from our first kiss that day in the lake. It's comfortable and exciting at the same time and all I wan is more. Our lips move together and I impatiently swipe my tongue over his for entrance. He parts his lips slightly and I wiggle my tongue into his mouth to taste his sweet elixir. I love to kiss him. It's more fun than Zayn, it's a lot less serious. I need to stop comparing him to Zayn.
His hands rest on my hips and I pull my head away slightly. What was I doing?
"I have a question," I say and brush my hair back with my fingers.
"Go ahead," he says with a smile, "I'll tell you anything," he says and kisses my nose.
"How many girls have you kissed like that?" I ask nervously, biting my lip. He takes a step back and looks at me like he's thinking hard.
"Um, I've kissed a few girls, but none of them felt that same way," he says and twirls his thumbs then looks up to continue, "like, I've gotten butterflies on the first kiss with almost every girl, but I've never still had butterflies for the fourth kiss," he explains and I smile slightly.
"How many girls have you had a fourth kiss with?" I ask again. I should stop with my questions.
"Maybe... Three?" He says and it sounds like a question.
"Oh," I say and look at my hands. I'm embarrassed that the only other guy I've been with is Zayn. Yeah, I've had plenty of experiences with him, but it was only with him. Noah puts his hand under my chin and makes me look back up at him.
"Shea, don't worry about it, it's not like I've slept with all of those girls," he says to try and make me more comfortable, but instead it makes me less.
"How many have you slept with?" I ask and I'll be the most comfortable if he says 'zero'. He bites his lip and looks back up to me. Yeah, I've slept with Zayn, but it's different. I don't want I think that any girls has touched Noah. He's mine now.
