Chapter 3

It's been a week since I began calling the ship and this world my home. I have learned how to fight and control my other half, well most of the time I can control it. It is when Heckyl changes into Snide that I change as well. My other half calls herself Destructa. Heckyl has made me stay on the ship until I can control my powers. It turns out I can shoot fire blasts at people with my bare hands. I also have a fire force field. Ever since I got here, all I do is train. Day after day, it's the same flipping thing! Wake up, eat, train, sleep! Over and over again! I'm sick of it! As much as I love Heckyl I'd rather be out there fighting!

I walk into the lab and find Wrench building a new weapon. I skip over to him all of a sudden happier.
ME: "Wrench, where's Heckyl?"
WRENCH: "What's gotten you so happy, Eris?"
I suddenly feel anger.
ME: "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?! IT'S PRINCESS ERIS TO YOU! AS IN HECKYL'S DARK PRINCESS!"
WRENCH: "I'm so sorry Princess! Please don't destroy me! Heckyl is in the throne room!"
My mood becomes happy again and I skip away to find Heckyl. I find Heckyl talking to Fury. Heckyl is sitting on the throne with his legs thrown over the arm. He sees me and sits upright. I walk up and sit in his lap.
ME: "Heckyl dear, when can I go fight? I'm more than ready. Please, Heckyl?"
He thought for a moment then nodded.
HECKYL: "I suppose it is time for my princess to help. I have a plan my dear."
I squealed and kissed his cheek.
ME: "You know just what to do to make me the happiest girl in the universe! FURY, LEAVE US!"
Fury nodded and practically ran out. I got up and turned to Heckyl. He got up and wrapped his fingerless gloved hands around my waist. I put my arms around his neck.
ME: "So my deviously insane prince charming, what's the plan?"
He smirked.
HECKYL: "I want you to go get a job at that silly little cafe that the rangers work at. Befriend them. Get close to the rangers. Then get the energems."
ME: "But then aren't I doing all the work?"
HECKYL: "I'll be working with you. Just not as much since I can't control Snide very well. You have control of Destructa."
I sighed.
ME: "As long as I don't have to pretend to love one of them I'll be fine."
He frowned.
HECKYL: "Actually, that's part of the plan. We need to get you super close to the rangers. Being one of the rangers girlfriend's will get them to trust you."
I pulled away from Heckyl and was suddenly enraged. 'How could he do this?! I love Heckyl not the rangers!' Suddenly I found myself pouring my feelings out to Heckyl.
ME: "YOU CAN'T MAKE ME ACT LIKE I LOVE THE RANGERS! THE ONLY BEING I LOVE IS YOU, HECKYL!"
I gasped and quickly covered my mouth with my hands. He smirked and made his way back over to me.
HECKYL: "I've been waiting for you to say that."
He pulled me closer and before I knew it, his lips were on mine. I quickly kissed back with all the passion and love I could. Soon he pulled away and all I could do was smile.
ME: "I I thought you wouldn't love me the way I do you."
HECKYL: "That my dear is where you were wrong. I kept you here on the ship because I don't want you destroyed. I don't care about many things but I do care about you. That is why I need you to do this. If you gain their trust and find the base, you can get the energems and we will be the strongest and most powerful couple in the universe! We can be together forever."
I smiled.
ME: "You mean it?"
HECKYL: "I do."
He kissed me again.
ME: "Fine. I'll do it. For us. Just remember that I hate the rangers and I'm only acting for our love."
He nodded and I teleported myself to Dino Bite Cafe.
