Chapter 7

The next day, Heckyl and I arrived at work and the rangers were freaking out. I walked up to Shelby to see what was wrong.
ME: "Hey Shelby what's all the commotion?"
She looked at me in a panic.
SHELBY: "All the older workers here in the cafe have these...well, these friendship necklaces. Ms. Morgan lost hers. We can't seem to find it and she's um...really superstitious and she thinks that if she can't find it, then she'll have bad luck."
ME: "Oh, well I hope you find the necklace Shelby."
I got to work taking orders and delivering food.

It was during lunch hour that Heckyl walked up to me. He whispered in my ear.
HECKYL: "It's time for phase 2 of the plan Eris. Go outside."
I nodded and walked into the kitchen.
ME: "Hey guys, I'm gonna take my break. I'll be back soon."
The rangers nodded and I walked out the door in the kitchen that led outside. A few minutes later, Snide showed up. He grabbed me and started pulling me away. I reacted with the loudest scream possible. A few seconds later, Shelby, Chase, and Riley ran out the door.
CHASE: "ERIS!"
We were far enough from the rangers that even if they tried, they wouldn't get to me before we teleported.
ME: "CHASE! HELP ME PLEASE!"
SNIDE: "Not this time rangers!"
Then we teleported to the ship. Snide took me to the cell room and locked me in a cell. I got confused.
ME: "Snide, what do you think you're doing? Heckyl said to tie me up not lock me away."
SNIDE: "Heckyl isn't in charge right now. What I say goes, Princess."
I rolled my eyes. I sat on the ground and waited. Now to get the rangers to track me down and "save" me.
