Chapter 10

NO ONE'S POV

Back at the cafe, Ivan, Koda, and Tyler were trying their best to keep up with the orders while also cooking them.
KENDALL: "Tyler, have you seen Shelby today?"
She walked into the kitchen where Tyler and Ivan were cooking.
TYLER: "No! Her along with Chase and Riley haven't shown up at all."
KENDALL: "It's not like Riley to miss work. Have you seen Heckyl and Eris?"
KODA: "Eris text Tyler and said she be in late."
KENDALL: "Ok then. I really hope the others are ok."
At that same moment, Chase, Shelby, and Riley walked into the cafe. They walked stiffly into the kitchen and stood there as if waiting for a command.
KENDALL: "It's about time you 3 showed up! I expected this much from Shelby and Chase but you being late Riley? What happened to you 3?"
Suddenly Shelby attacked Kendall. She punched her in the gut and knocked Kendall to the ground.
KENDALL: "SHELBY! What is wrong with you?!"
Chase followed Shelby's attack by side kicking Ivan in the stomach. Ivan stumbled back and held his stomach. Riley then did an impossible tornado kick and knocked Koda down.
KENDALL: "Something's wrong with them! It's like they are programmed to attack us."
Shelby started to fight Tyler, Riley attacked Ivan, and Chase attacked Kendall. Koda tried helping out but eventually grew too tired. 20 minutes later, Shelby, Chase, and Riley walked out of the cafe, leaving an passed out Kendall, Chase, and Ivan on the floor and a confused Koda practically crying and screaming in the corner.
