Chapter 6

I arrived at the fight just as the rangers were finished fighting the the vivix. I walked over to Beevil.
ME: "How's the fight going?"
BEEVIL: "Amazing darling!"
SHELBY: "Oh great who are you?!"
I laughed.
ME: "I am Destructa! Dark Princess of the universe!"
CHASE: "Question is what universe?"
KENDALL: "Because it's definitely not this one."
ME: "Oh Beevil. Why don't you hit the purple ranger with our little surprise?"
BEEVIL: "With pleasure!"
I began fighting the rangers to distract them from Beevil. It was only when I heard a beeping sound near me that I started panicking. I was running out of energy. I looked behind me just in time to see Beevil spray the formula onto the purple ranger. Then I disappeared. I teleported behind a building then changed back into my human like form. I was breathing heavily and I felt weak. I quickly teleported to the cafe and put my apron on and got to work. 10 minutes later, the rangers returned with a little girl.
ME: "Heckyl dear, look. Beevil was successful. Kendall is a child which means getting the purple energem will be easier than ever."
HECKYL: "Perfect. You did good my dear."
I smiled and went to deliver another meal. I walked out, gave the customer their food, then walked over to Chase who was sitting with child Kendall.
ME: "Chase, who's this little angel?"
CHASE: "Uh...this is...my cousin, Delilah!"
ME: "It's nice to meet you Delilah."
"You too. Chase, can I get a drink?"
CHASE: "Sure, I'll be right back."
I smirked and sat down across from "Delilah".
ME: "Hey sweetie, I was wondering if you have seen a purple gem necklace anywhere? I lost it and it's the only thing I had left of my mother. She passed away a year ago."
She smiled then reached into her pocket. She pulled out the energem.
"You mean this?"
I nodded.
"I think I found it at the park earlier but if it belongs to you, you can have it."
She handed it to me and I smiled.
ME: "Thank you dear. It means a lot."
I got up and walked back to the kitchen. I looked at the clock.
ME: "Heckyl, isn't it quitting time for you and me?"
He looked at me confused but realized what I had done.
HECKYL: "Oh! Yes, I'm sorry Eris dear. I forgot about our dinner plans. I'll meet you outside."
Outside meant the ship of course. I nodded and said goodbye to my fellow workers then walked out. As soon as I was outside, I teleported to the ship. I was joined a few minutes later by Heckyl.
HECKYL: "Did you get it?"
I pulled out the necklace.
ME: "Of course I did. And the best part is, once the formula wears off, Ms. Morgan won't remember a thing. She won't know who took it."
HECKYL: "Excellent my dear!"
