Chapter 6

" do you want to come?" Stevie asked Lisa was was sitting chatting to red.

" I'll catch you two up, your going up willow creek?" Lisa asked, as Stevie nodded.

" see you soon then," Carol said as her and Stevie trotted down the track, they had no hurry since their lesson wasn't until 11.

" you never told me the story to why you sold paintbox, he was a beautiful horse," Lisa said to red as he looked at her and sighed, " just reasons I guess... I don't think I trust myself after the fire."

" red the fire was ages ago and it wasn't even you...." Suddenly she got cut off my Kirsty coming through and shoving Lisa out the way so she landed on the floor.

" Lisa!" Red said running and helping her up, " are you okay? " he asked concerned, as she nodded.

" what did you do that for?" Lisa asked Kirsty as she grabbed onto red as he pulled her up.

" didn't see you I guess.... Anyway I wanted to speak to red about dime if you don't mind!" She said as Lisa grabbed her helmet and looked to red," I'm going to go."

" wait I'll come with you, I'll just be a minute," red said as he looked to Kirsty, " what do you need?"

Suddenly Kirsty's mind went blank, she didn't know what to do," do you know where max is?" She asked as red looked at her and pointed into the school.

" oh, thanks red," Kirsty said as red nodded as he and Lisa went into the stable for him to tack up a horse for him and Lisa to go on a ride with.

" what do you think of Lisa and red?" Carol said as her and starlight trotted alongside belle and Stevie.

Stevie laughed as she pulled belle into a walk, as Carol did the same, " I think it was just a matter of time... They aren't meant to be,... Anyway you need a boyfriend now! Your the only one that's left in the saddle club single!" Stevie joked as Carol as she gave a short smile.

" yeah, but I just don't know," Carol said wanting the conversation to end now.

" don't know what? " Stevie asked wanting to know what Carol was hiding.

" nothing, I'm just happy for Lisa," Carol said as she nudged starlight in to a canter as she cantered up the hill as shortly after Stevie followed.

" think your missing us!" They heard Someone shout as she saw prancer come galloping up to them as red and Hugo the school horse came galloping behind them, no one could get faster then prancer and Lisa since prancer is an ex race horse.

" hey you two," Stevie laughed as as her and Carol came to a halt so hugo and prancer could have some time to have a breather seeing as prancer must have cantered and hugo must have galloped the whole way.

" hey guys," Lisa said as she gave a little wave.

" phill is coming to pine hollow for the day," Lisa said smiling as Stevie couldn't help but smile, she hadn't seen her boyfriend in ages.

" aww see a little blush coming on there Stevie," Carol laughed trying to not show that she felt left out.

" come on, we can't stand around talking," red said nudging Hugo into a steady canter as the saddle club followed.
