It was the next morning and Stevie was up bright and early to pine hollow to get a head start on mucking out. She had a hard time sleeping last night with everything that was going on. After Lisa had left yesterday, no one had heard anything from her, not even red. This was enough to cause Stevie a lot of stress, but with all the tension in the stable between Liam and scooter it was weighing her down and she just needed something to take her mind off it even if it was mucking out belles stall.
" morning Stevie," red said walking up behind her with some paper work in his hand from Max's office upstairs, " you heard from anyone?"
" just Carole texting she'd be here soon, you?"
Red shook his head, he'd heard nothing from Lisa all night, " I tried calling Lisa and texting her but I've heard nothing."
Stevie put her hand on reds back and smiled, " don't stress yourself red, she's will be weak and tired after the snake bite especially after not having a full recovery. She knows we love her and we are always here if she needs to talk but she needs the rest."
Red smiled and walked up to prancers stall door and put out his hand to rub his hand along her mane, he imaged prancer would be missing Lisa as well since she hasn't gotten a good Gallop with her in a while as Lisa wasn't fit enough.
" morning guys," phil comes in walking beside Carole holding a feed bucket and he walks up to Stevie to give her a peck on the forehead.
" lets do the morning jobs then meet in the lounge for a coffee?" Red asks as they 3 nod in agreement and all go to their horses while red bios outside to make a phone call.
He wanted with his phone pressed against his ear hearing every single ring, until finally he heard...
" hello?" He hears her say with a tired voice as he'd obviously just woken her up.
" morning princess, you won't believe how happy I am to hear your voice. I tried calling last night," he says softy.
" sorry, I'm just tired, I'll be round to pine hollow in an hour, can you please feed prancer and I'll do her mucking out and grooming when I get there before I take her out,"she asked as red smiled.
" course I will, you just take it easy Lisa, I'll see you in a bit. Love you," he smiles as she replies as he hangs up the phone. Red obviously wasn't going to just feed her without mucking out and grooming her too as he knows Lisa needed to relax.
After he was finished he went into the lounge and met up with Carole, phil and Stevie and saw a bunch of flowers beside them.
" you guys got flowers for Lisa?" Red asked taking a seat as Carole shook her head and passed him the note inside of it.
" oh they are from them," red said reading the note saying that they were from Liam and scooter as he got raged and popped them gently on the table before he had the urge to chuck them out the window.
Suddenly they hear a door open as Lisa popped in as a big smile grew on all 4 of their faces.
