Luke's POV

I woke up and Sam wasn't there. The bathroom door is closed so maybe she's in there. I turned the tv on and leaned up against the head board. Sam finally walked out of the bathroom. She had bags under her eyes and she looked drained.

"Good morning babe. You look a little rough. Is something wrong?" I asked concerned. She laid back down and snuggled up to me. I wrapped my arm around her.

"I was up and down all night. I'm worried about Ashton. On top of that I had bad dreams about Hillary. I don't know why, but she's always in my dreams doing bad things to us. I'm getting a bad vibe from the dreams." Sam said yawning.

"Yeah, I know it babe. It's tough, but she could never hurt us." I picked up her left hand and held it in my right.

"Forever." I said and kissed her cheek.

"Forever." She said smiling. We turned to the tv to find the show being interrupted.

"Breaking news. A nineteen year old, Ashton Irwin was shot last night around 1:58am. Irwin was quickly carried off to Vanderbilt Medical and is being treated right now. The man who had shot him was arrested at the crime scene." The lady said. I looked at Sam and she looked at me.

"We gotta get to that hospital." I said and quickly got dressed. Sam did the same and we hopped into the car.

"I got GPS on my phone." Sam said. I nodded and drove off. I have no idea where I'm going. All I know is, I have to get to Ashton. He was a brother to me.

"Second left." Sam said. I turned and continued driving. A little while later I noticed Sam not talking and looked at her.

"Are you still giving me directions?" I asked laughing as she stared at her phone.

"Yeah. We turn left here." Sam said. I turned left and the hospital came into view. I went around the parking lot several times trying to get one close to the entrance. I gave up and parked in the back. I helped Sam out of the car and held her hand as we ran for the entrance. We walked in and went straight to the desk.

"How may I help you?" The woman asked us.

"Ashton Irwin."

"Are you family?" I nodded.

"3rd floor. Room 358."

"Thank you so much." We walked quickly to the elevator. I pushed the button anxiously and waited for the slowest elevator in the world. It finally arrived and we stepped in. I pushed the number 3 and waited.

"I hope he's ok." Sam said looking down and biting her lip.

"He will be. Don't worry." I said squeezing her hand. We stepped out of the elevator and looked around. I looked up at the signs hanging from the ceiling.

"Rooms 343-360 are to the right." I said taking the right hallway. We sped through looking at both sides.

"It's gonna be on the right side." Sam said as we noticed the pattern. We kept walking through. We finally found Ashton's room and I slowly opened the door. We walked in to find an empty bed being made up by a nurse.

"Excuse me, is this Ashton Irwin's room?" Sam asked. Oh my goodness. Ash, please be alive.

"It was his room. He went into surgery four hours ago. He has recently been moved to intensive care on the sixth floor." I pulled Sam towards the door.

"Thank you." I said and we sprinted for the elevator. Once again, worlds slowest elevator. It arrived a few minutes later and we quickly stepped on pressing the number 6. I never let go of Sam's hand. I didn't want to. Not now. Not ever. The door opened and we hopped off. We walked quickly to the desk.
