Sam's POV
I fluttered my eyes open and checked my phone. 10am. I rolled over and found Luke staring at me.
"Morning." He said smiling.
"Morning. How long have you been up?"
"Since about 7." He said sitting up and pulling me with him.
"You didn't bother to wake me?"
"You looked so cute while you were sleeping, and you need it for tonight when we leave." I jumped up and started doing a dance.
"Are you ok, Sam?" Luke asked laughing at me. I fell back on the bed and wrapped my arms around Luke.
"Yep. Just extremely excited!" He laughed and nodded. He stood up and walked to the bathroom. He cleaned his stomach and then stared at it. He then threw on a white shirt and walked back.
"Get dressed. We're going to McDonalds for breakfast." He said excitedly. I laughed at his behavior and threw on a grey tank top, jeans, and slipped into some silver flats. I brushed through my hair and walked to the kitchen. I found the whole house empty. I went back to the room where I found a note on the bed.
"Sorry princess. I left without you. Gotta be quicker next time ;) If you want breakfast fix yourself some toast. Love, Lukey xx."
Alright, I know he didn't leave. I grabbed my phone and keys then walked out. I turned around and locked the door. I suddenly felt arms wrap around my waist.
"What do you want with me?!" I yelled, not thinking at all.
"Its me sweetheart. I would never leave without you." Luke said. I turned around and hit him playfully. We got in the car and drove to McDonalds. I pulled up and ordered.
"2 hotcakes with bacon and 2 waters." I paid for the meal and left with the food. We got in the house and sat down to eat. Luke finished his in five minutes tops.
"Hungry, babe?" I asked and he nodded. I finished my food and threw our trash away.
"When does our flight leave?" I asked walking to the living room and sitting down.
"Departure is at 6." Luke said.
"So we'll get to the airport around 4 to get through security." Luke nodded and we sat down to watch tv.
"Lets watch something scary." Luke said grinning.
"Like what?" He took the remote and went to On Demand. He selected Nightmare On Elm Street.
"Great choice, Lukey." I said sarcastically.
"I did that on purpose, Sam. If you get scared, you can always cuddle up to me." I nodded and smiled at the thought. I checked the time once more. 12:13. We have a good little bit to lounge around. The movie started and it doesn't look that scary. Its just showing a house. What was I thinking? This doesn't seem like the type of-. My thoughts were interrupted and I screamed.
"Lukey, what was that?"
"Freddy." he said calmly. I continued watching the movie and Freddy started killing people.
"Hold me!" I screamed before jumping on Luke. He laughed and wrapped his arms around me. I stayed cuddled up with Luke for the rest of the movie. To be honest, I didn't really watch the rest of it. I just stared at the screen and thought about kissing Luke. I would do anything to kiss his luscious lips. The movie finally ended and we sat there staring at the blank screen.
"It's 3 we should go." Luke said getting up and walking to the bedroom. He grabbed our luggage and loaded the car. I turned off al of the lights and made sure the doors were locked. I grabbed my phone, keys, and purse and walked out with Luke. I drove to the airport. We stepped out of the car and took our bags to check in. We checked the bags and got our gate number.
"I cant believe we're really going. We didn't even tell anyone." I said smiling at how secretive we were.
"Yeah, I know. We're gonna have fun." Luke said smiling. We walked through security and sat outside our gate. I fixed my black hair and looked around. people were either, celebrating, crying, or waiting. Finally our flight was boarding. We handed the lady our tickets and walked onto the plane. We found our seats in first class and sat down. I popped some gum in my mouth and looked out of the window.
"Can I sit by the window?" I asked giving Luke my puppy eyes. He gave in and switched seats with me. I put on my seat belt and listened to the captain.
"Turn off all electronics. make sure your seat belt is on. We should arrive in America in 23 hours." I groaned at how long we would be on the plane. We turned off our phones and began cruising down the run way. We were finally up in the air and I gazed out the window. You could see the lights shining from the city slowly fade. The captain told everyone we could use electronics. I turned my phone on and took the bag of peanuts and a glass of water from the lady. I ate my snack and looked out the window again. After a while I got tired of looking at the clouds. Its 1am. I have at least 12 more hours of sitting here. I rested my head on Luke's shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and took a picture.
"I definitely don't wanna forget this." Luke said. I nodded and pulled out paper and pens.
"Play hangman with me." I said handing him a pen. He laughed and took it. I went first and drew out the diagram and the spaces.
"T?" I nodded and filled in the spaces that had Ts.
"E?" I nodded and filled in the spaces.
"R?" I once again filled in the spaces.
"True love?" He asked getting excited.
"You guessed it."
"Yay! What do I win?" He asked.
"I don't know. Nothing." I said.
"How about this?" he said and leaned in. He kissed me. I felt his lips against mine. I've been longing for this to happen for so long! I liked, no, loved Luke so much that I was getting butterflies. He pulled away and smiled at me. I blushed and smiled back at him. I put the pens and paper away then rested my head on Luke's shoulder again. The captain came on the intercom after a long wait and said we should be landing soon. I turned off my phone. I thought about the kiss Luke and I shared earlier. Does this mean we're together? He hasn't asked me properly so I guess not. I'll just consider us best friends for now and hope for the best on this trip. The plane landed and we got off. I walked to baggage claim holding Luke's hand and waited. We finally got our bags and called a cab. Within minutes we were at our hotel right on the beach of Virginia! Its 4pm now and I'm extremely tired. There's only one bed in the room, another good thing on this trip. Luke hasn't stopped talking about how tomorrow we're spending all day and night on the beach. We're gonna listen to the bands and drink. Sounds like a good time to me! I have stayed up a full twenty-four hours, so I laid down next to Luke. I curled up next to him. We're finally away from home! This trip is going to be the best yet. I smiled and drifted off to sleep.
