Alex
I stood there in surprise. My chinldhood friend, the one I thought had died is standing in front of me. "I thought you died..." I said as he shook his head.
"No, when we were attack, I hid in the old celler below the fountain. No one really knew about it so he didn't find me. I thought you died though." Akito said as grabbing my hands.
"I was hidden below the body of my father, the thought I was dead..." I said as I looked at my team. "Oh, sorry. This was one of my best friends in this village. His name is Akito Kitume, he was the son of an important ninja here." I said as pointing to him. "Oh, and sorry about the shadows... That was me, Iwas worried and paranoid that someone would ruin what my father did here. So, I cursed it." I said as he looked over to me and nodded.
Walking over to the far right wall in the Aisukage's room I saw a picture of my father. Pulling the picture off I did a couple of handsigns and a bunch of runes appeared on the walls. Taking my hand I braught it over the runes, erasing them effectivly.
"Problem solved." I said as turning to my team. "I used to be a very sad and angry child." I said as walking past them and back to Akito. I was about to say something when a ear peircing scream filled the air, immeditally remembering that sound I rushed outside and was greeted with the face of a snake. Anger filling my eyes I unsummoned Yin and Yang from their seals and cut the snakes head off.
"Why?!" I yelled as killing the snakes, my friends at my side. "Why are you back?!" I scream as looking up at the sky. The giant portal was there again, it seemed to be the only way for the snakes to get here. Seeing that was only option I fueled air and lightning into my feet. Looking over to Kankuro I smiled, he started to running toward me. Adding the final bits of chakra into my feet I jumped, I will sacrifice myself, and in return everyone here will live. Kankuro will find someone, I hope they will get over me. I want them to smile, laugh. Well, looks like this is it. I thought as I plunged into the portal.
Kankuro
I was using Crow, killing several of the snakes as I saw something. There was a giant portal in the sky, all the snakes seemed to be connected to it. There was also a huge chakra coming from it so whoever was doing this really does not want anyone to live in this village. So, when Alex put up a curse the snakes didn't come back because someone was doing their work for them. It all makes sense now! I thought as whipping Crow at another snake.
If we destroy the portal the snakes will go forever. Looking around me I saw all of the ninja from this village and our group were losing ground, we were being slautered. Lastly, I looked over at Alex, saying silent goodbyes when I finally noticed her position. she was looking up and she was in a position as if she was about to jump. Wait?! She was going to shut the portal from the inside! I thought as reaching out.
"Alex!" I yelled as she looked over to me and smiled at me. My eyes watering I started to run toward her, in hopes of stopping her. I watched as she started to pour chakra into her feet making them glow a dull purple. "ALEX!" I yelled as she took off. (Geez, I make her sound like a plane) She flew straight up, her hair flying around her she plunged into the vortex of the portal.
Standing there nothing happened for a few moments. Nothing happened, her sacrifice was for nothing. Tears fallng down my face I closed my eyes and cried. Not a moment later, the ground started to shake. My eyes snapping open I looked up at the sky. All the snakes also looked up, the portal was starting to change color. the origional black was turning into a deep purple, like Alex's chakra I realised.
Lightning started to strike all around the portal, the wind speed picking up too, it was swirling around the portal now. The snakes started to die one after another, the worse the portal got the more that died.
