Northern Skies **Naruto**

Chapter One

"Alex Shimo." Someone called as my head jolted up. "I see you still wear the mask as usual. Please answer number thirteen." My history teacher sighs as pointing up to the board. I look up to the board, reading the question. 'Who are you?' I looked confusingly at the teacher as she glared at me. "Who are you? Really." She then turned into a giant ice blue dragon, 'Who are you?!' She yelled in her now dragon voice. She kept on repeating 'You' over and over till it all faded away from me. My head head falling onto the desk.

"Alex! Wake up!" Someone yells again. This time I jump out of my seat in a complete panic looking for the dragon. I noticed that all the eyes in the classroom were on me.

"I'm going to the nurse." I said in my unusually deep voice, seeing as I am a girl. I grabbed my bag and bowed my apologies. "Sorry." I walked out of the classroom, in a complete daze. What is happening. That same dragon seems to be appearing everywhere. Next thing you know the dragon and it's ten tails will be stuck in my head. And it always says the same thing. Who are you. I know who I am, well, at least who I think I am.

Instead of heading to the nurse I decided to just go home, not wanting to deal with anybody. Usually, I would take the long way so I didn't have to deal with the drama at my home, but today I took a short cut that shortened it be a mile and a half. The bad thing it is through an alley. One of the most dangerous ones in the whole country. I know how to fight so I'm fine, but other s who don't die here. I looked down at the ground not wanting to trip, I really hate tripping, I really do.

A scream sounded up ahead, without even thinking I ran forward to help. A small old lady was being held up by what looked like a seven foot man. That's tall for me, and I'm five' seven, plus I'm only thirteen. Go genes!

"Hey!" I yelled at the man, not thinking about surprising him at all, but he dropped the lady at the sudden commotion. I lunged forward preparing to catch the lady, just before she hit the ground I caught her and set her near a bunch of boxes. "Wait, here. I will be right back." I pushed myself up looking up into the mans eyes.

"You little brat! I kill you!" He yelled as lunging at me. His arms reached forward as I kicked him in the face. The sheer power of the kick sent him through a wall into a kitchen full of screaming chefs. He slowly stood up getting angrier and angrier by the second. "You'll pay for that!" He said as trying to regain his balance.

"You meant the wall. Technically, you would have to pay for that since you broke it. Oh, unless you meant your pride which can never be fixed." I said as smirking. He lost it and lunged at me again, but this time falling on his face knocking him out. I walked back over to the lady and stuck my hand out. "My name is Alex Shimo. Nice to meet you." I said as smiling. She smiled right back at me, which was surprising, since no one ever wanted to be around me after they see me fight, they leave because of fear.

"Well, young lady, that was quiet a show you had there. Wasn't it!" The lady said enthusiastically. I nod slowly. "And you were just the person I was looking for!" She says as perking up. She started to pull me in the opposite direction of my house, I quickly look from the lady to the direction of where my house is. If I leave the lady she might get attacked again and I go home now I'll have to deal with a whole bunch of crap. I turn towards the lady seeing I have no other choice but to go with her. And ouch, is her grip strong.

I start to lose myself in my mind as the lady suddenly stops. "We're here." She stated. I looked around only to see fields upon fields of trees and grass.

"Where's here?" I question. I look down at her curiously as she smiles up at me.

"I would hold your breath." She stated as I began to argue, until something caught my foot. The old lady is doing a rapid series of hand movements, to fast for me to see. Until, she yells. "Hidden Art: Inter-dimensional Portal!" She yells as I begin to sink into the ground. I looked at her crazily as she smiled and waved.
