Ch.8 mornning

"Wake up Maria!!!" Ava yelled as she stumbled into her room to see Maria asleep and Natasha sitting on her stomach hugging the teddy bear. Ava was about to ask why Natasha had her favorite teddy bear but let it slide since she didn't feel like arguing with a 3 year old.

"Hmm" Maria mumbled as she threw her left arm over her face.

"Get up!!!!!!" Ava yelled again as she moved Natasha off Maria and hit her with a pillow.

"What!!!!?" Maria yelled as she shot out of bed ready to kill a person.

"The kids!!!" Ava yelled as she pointed at Natasha who was hugging the bear and sitting down on the floor. Maria rubbed her eyes and looked at Natasha who looked a her.

"Where are they?" Maria groaned as she fell back onto the bed with a sigh.

"It would be easier to tell you where their not!!" Ava said as she sat down on the edge of the bed holding her head. Maria got a better look at Ava now that she was sitting in front of her, Ava's hair was a mess and she hand bags under her eyes. "Their not in their rooms" Ava said with a sigh as she fell onto the bed.

"What ?!" Maria yelled as she shot out of bed, she got out to fast and tripped over the sheets falling face first.

"Natasha. Sweetie come on" Maria said as she got up and picked up Natasha up off the floor and jogged to janes and peppers room.

"Empty" Maria mumbled to herself as she looked into their room.

"Empty" Maria mumbled to herself as she looked into Bruce and Tonys room.

"Empty" Maria yawned as she looked into Thor's room.

When she got to the elevator she paused for as minute and then it clicked inside her mind. "Their empty!!!!!" She yelled as Natasha hugged her bear as Maria held her on her hip.

"Code red, black, rainbow!! Something for missing kids!!!! Do we even have a code for that!!!!?" Maria yelled into her earpiece as she hit a random button on the panel.

"Calm down. What's the most some little kids could do?" Someone laughed their the earpiece as the elevator stopped on the first floor. Just as Maria walked threw the thresh hold of the elevator the whole bace started to shake and rumble. "What was that!" The person yelled as Maria regained her balance and make sure that she had a good grip on Natasha.

"Theirs a lot they can do" Maria mumbled as she held Natasha closer to her and ran to the command post.

"Where did the tremor irrigate from?" Maria asked as she set Natasha down on a chair next to her. Since Maria had the highest ranking in the building she took command.

"The 4th floor" someone said as they typed away on glass screen that had a map of the building.

"Locate the rest of children while your at it" Maria said as she pulled up a virtual screen and started to look over everyone's findings on the tremor that happened and to see if the building was stable still.

"Mria" Natasha said in german as she pulled on Maria's blue shorts.

"Yes sweetie" Maria said as she kept her eyes on the virtual screen.

"I'm hugry" Natasha said in German as she played with the ribbon on the teddy bear.

"Ok, let's go see what's is in the kitchen" Maria said with a sigh as she put in a mental note to ask Natasha if she could speck English since she under stands it when Maria specks it to her.

"Natasha can you speck English?" Maria asked as she held her hand and took her to the elevator after she made sure someone was in charge and they could debrief her after she got something for Natasha.

"Es" Natasha said in almost perfect English as she looked up at Maria with a small smile.

"Can you speck English then instead of German?" Maria asked in a kind voice so she wouldn't offend Natasha.

"K" Natasha said as she nodded her head yes. Maria smile and pressed the button for the for the second floor. Just as they got off the elevator another tremor shock the building.

"I'm so going to kill these kids" Maria mumbled to herself as she walked into the huge mess hall and told some agents to help get Natasha something to eat and watch her. Maria had to ask each agent their name and rack her brain to see if Natasha pissed/trained/fought with any of them of them when she was older before she relished Natasha into their care. You'd be surprised at how long some people hold grudges. Then Maria ran to the elevator and hit the button for the 4th floor.

"Is the tremors still coming from the 4th floor?" Maria asked into her headset as she watched the numbers on the elevator.

"Yes" someone replayed as she got off on the 4th floor. She walked over to the glass control penal to the right and tapped it to find out was was on that level.

Her brain was on over load imaging all the things Tony could do in a SHIELD lab or what Bruce could do, or worse what they could do together. Images of slime creatures, monsters, plant monsters and animals that have mutated popped into he mind and she froze and her eyes went big.

"Tony!!!! Bruce!!!!!!!!!" Maria screamed as she ran down the hall.
