Little avengers

Ch.7 bed time

"Holy!! Cli-agent Barton" Ava yelled not sure on how to address Clint as she walked into the room. Clint found his way up into an air vent while Steve laid down on the bed. "Ahhh-oh my god" Ava yelled as Clint dropped down onto the bed next to Steve like nothing happened. "That's getting nailed down" Ava said as she called some agents to nail down the vent.

"Wh-don't!!" Ava yelled as Clint got ahold of a nail gun and started to fire it. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Maria!!" Ava yelled as she ran trying to avoid being shot and shot at.

"Clint Barton!! Put that down, right now." Maria yelled as she walked into the room. Clint saw Maria then put it down and lifted up his hands signaling he wanted up. Maria sighed and walked over to him kicking the nail gun to the side near Ava who was having a small panic attack and picked him up. "Its bed time. Now go to sleep" Maria said as she placed Clint into the bed and tucked both Steve and Clint in.

"Nght" Clint said as closed is eyes and fell asleep, Steve was already out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

"Can you check on Thor? Or do you want to keep an eye on the girls?" Maria asked Ava who looked like she was ready to have a heart attack. Maria knew that she was the one that had to check on Bruce and tony.

"Girls" Ava yelled as she quickly ran out of the room. The agents that nailed the vent shut quickly scrambled to get out to.

"Tony, Bruce?" Maria whispered as she silently opened their door. She silently walked over to their bed to see them both asleep. "Thank god" Maria mumbled as she took their shoes off and tucked them in, she left the door slightly open just in case they wake up and need to find her. She did this for all the doors.

"Thor?" Maria whispered as she opened Thor's door.

"Thor?" Maria asked as she walked into the room. She walked over to the bed and to find it empty. "Thor!?" Maria yelled as she pulled at the sheets and threw them on the floor hoping that Thor was under them.

"Shit" she mumbled she saw the empty bed. "Ok. Calm down Maria, he probably had to go pee" Maria said to herself as she looked around the room. "AVA!!!!" Maria yelled as soon as she left the room.

"What?" Ava asked as she peeked her head out of the girls room. When she saw Maria freaking out she closed the girls door and ran over to her. "What's wrong?!" Ava asked as she saw Maria pacing in a circle.

"Thor's gone!" Maria half shouted as she grabbed Ava's shoulders and started to shake her.

"What do you mean he's gone?" Ava said as she got out of Maria's grip and ran into Thor's temp room. Her eyes widen when she saw the room empty.

"He's gone!!!" Ava screened as he ran around the room trying to find the small god.

"I no that!!" Maria yelled as she starts to clam herself down. 'Fury's going to kill me!!!' She yelled in her head as she closed her eyes.

" wait!" Maria yelled as her eyes snapped open. "Did Thor get onto the elevator when we came up here?!" Maria asked as she stopped panicking and tried to think.

"You don't think..." Ava left the question hanging as they both thought about it. They looked at each other then ran to the elevator with slightly pail faces.

"You don't think he'll call his hammer?...do you?" Maria asked as she felt her stomach knot up. They left Thor's hammer at avenger tower since that's where Thor left it last and its to heavy to be moved my anything.

Ava and Maria both ran to the elevator making quick time as hit the button to take them back down to the basement.

"Thor!!!!" Maria screamed as she ran out of the elevator with Ava right behind her.

"Maria" Thor said with with a smile as he looked up from the dusty floor and ran over to Maria.

"What are you doing down here?!" Maria half yelled as she pulled Thor into a hug.

"I was playing with the people" Thor said as an agent with cleaning supplies walked out of a room. He stopped and looked at Maria then walked into another room.

"Thor, your not supposed to go off on your own." Maria said with a sigh as she carried Thor on her hip back into the elevator and back up to the floor. Ava already felt like she was ready to drop when she entered the elevator again.

"But I wanted to play still" Thor said as he hugged Maria's neck. Maria sighed and carried Thor to his room and tucked him in. By the time Maria placed Thor into the bed he was out.

"Thank god" Maria mumbled when she noticed Thor was asleep. Ava walked into the girls room to see Pepper and Jane asleep and Natasha sitting at the edge of the bed starring at the wall.

"I wan to eep wit Mria" Natasha said as she sat their look down at her small hands.

"Alright" Maria said as she walked into the room, she herd Natasha from outside the door. Natasha held up her hands for Maria to lift her up and carry her to Ava's room where Maria set Natasha down on the bed.

"Ugh. I'll be right back sweetie" Maria said as she left the room and ran to the elevator and back to the helijet to grabbed her duffle bag with clothes. She quickly changed in front of Natasha who keep starring at Maria with a blank look on her face.

When Maria was finished changing she starred at Natasha for a minute thinking about where she saw that expression before. That's when it hit her, she remembered when Natasha and Clint came back from a short mission and Natasha was starring into space with a blank look on her face then Clint carried Natasha to her room with out a fuss from Natasha.

'She just tired' Clint said then carried Natasha who fell asleep in Clint's arms to her room.

Maria snapped out of her little flashback and walked over to the bed and picked up Natasha who was at the edge of the bed and placed her in the middle of the bed. Before Maria got into the bed she looked around the room and her eye landed on a small row of stuffed animals. A smile found its way onto her face as she took three of the stuffed animals off the little shelf. She then walked to pepper and Janes room. She placed a small pink rabbit under peppers small arm and a green turtle under Janes, then she walked back to Ava's room and placed a small brown bear under Natasha's arm who was still starring into space. Maria saw the Ava was no where to be found and just shrugged her shoulders and got into the bed with Natasha. As soon as Maria got comfy Natasha turned and hugged Maria and hugged the bear with her other hand. Maria sighed and got Natasha into a better position and let her fall asleep, Maria smiled to herself thinking she gots this whole parenting thing down and got some much needed and derived sleep.
