What NOT to do When Writing - WHEN BAD BOOKS ATTACK!!

Hello hello!

If any of you know me, then you know that I like to be a pretty positive person, but not today! At least, not for the sake of your writing career.

I've given a few critiques in my time, and I know that it's a hassel listing all the things you SHOULD do when writing. However, wouldn't it be much easier to tell them what not to do? And better yet, give an example! God, I love examples... mostly. Only if they have something to do with a book that's already published, and more particularly, a book that's written poorly.

Now don't get me wrong, all books are published for a reason - whether it's a good plot or has interesting characters, or a concept that's never been done before - but if you mess up just one of these essential qualities, then you have yourself a bad book.

So I'm here to tell you about all the bad books I've read in my life, and maybe then you'll understand why I've basically given up on reading :)

Oh yeah, and tips. There will be lots of tips on what NOT to do when writing.
