Vivians POV : I woke up to a cold breeze brush a cross my shoulder making my eyes grow wide, I looked over to the side of the bed realizing I had once again waited for devin to come back home (well, it's not my home but..yeah) anyway, I got out of bed and did all my hygiene then went downs stairs to eat breakfast. After I was done making my pancakes and eggs I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV, as soon as I turned it on the news cut on announcing some girls death...
News: This just in, last night a woman in her mid-20's dead in her home caused by a murderer...we haven't found any evidence of the murderer except for pictures of the woman before this event had occured, if you know anything about case please call the police station thank you...
I cut the tv off in shock, how could someone so sick take pictures of their victims then go in their homes and murder them-my thoughts got cut off by the front door opening making me jump
Devin: Viv...you here?
I sit my plate down and make my way to the door to greet him, when I saw him he looked a mess and out of breath
Vivi: Babe you OK what happened!?
Devin:Oh...nothing...just ran...all the way here..good for exercise
Vivian: Where were you last night?
Dev: I told you, I was at a family meeting!
He snapped all of a sudden..
Vivian: Sorry..Geez I just wanted to make sure you were safe because there was a killing on the news about a girl
As I was saying this he was walking past me into the living room but soon stop when I said a killing on the news, He turned around quickly and grabbed me by my shoulders causing a little pain
Vivian: Hey! what the-
Devin: What did they say
He said quickly looking in my eyes as if he was searching for the answers in them, He violently shook me and yelled
Devin:WHAT DID THEY SAY GOT DAMN IT!
I got out of his tight grip and took steps back
Vivian: THEY DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING EXCEPT THEY DIDN'T FIND ANY EVIDENCE WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT!
Devins eyes got soft and looked at my me with such sorrow
Devin: Sorry babe..I-i didn't mean to I just want you to be safe...that's all
Vivian: Dev..you're scaring me...are you sure you ok?
Devin just shook his head at me and sighed. he kissed me on the cheek went up stairs saying he just needs sometime to himself leaving me in the middle of the hallway with tears threating to come out. I went and sat back down on the couch then turned on the TV cutting on cartoons and fell asleep into darkness.
