Picture of Bryce and Ronnie as two UFC fighters.

Zane's pov.

'Hey Zane!' I spun around at my name. When my eyes settled on Ronnie I ran over to him and bro hugged him. Ronnie is huge, and that's even an understatement. He's been working out and fighting since he could walk. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. And his trademark of course is his tattoos that cover his shoulders and down his chest and back and then loop around his arms and waist. We got our first tattoo together when we were 16.

'Hey man, its been awhile.'

'Yeah I came to see you when- yah know-'

'You can say it, Ronnie.'

'I know I just don't want to.' He says punching my shoulder. 'So you up for a match?' He gestures towards the fighting ring behind me. After Cami ran from me with Tristan I really needed a stress reliever; so, I ended up here. This place was my second home, Ron's Ring, is the name. Ronnie's dad, Ron or big Ron owns the place. Its just fun fighting and on Friday nights there are matches for money, that people bet on. I used to be the champion until another fighter, Bryce knocked me out. He won fair and square but I was still pissed. 'Maybe a little me versus the bag for now.'

'Oh come on! You haven't went soft on me have ya?'

I laughed, 'Nah man, just sore.'

He nodded tightly. 'Oh beware, Bryce and his girl are coming over here.'

I rolled my eyes. 'Who's he screwing now?' I laughed and turned to see Bryce, as built as ever with his dark brown hair and green eyes. He also, like almost every guy in the gym, has tattoos. He has two noticeable ones; one is red and spirals onto his chest and the other is black on the opposite shoulder.

'I'm not screwing her.' Bryce growls and I laugh.

'Oh so she's your sister, I mean why else wouldn't you Fùck her?' Ronnie joins in on my bantering and laughing.

The blonde clung to his arm rips away. 'I'm not his sister, I'm his cousin.' Ronnie and I bust out laughing. 'Oh shut up! I know he's a pig.'

'That's true.' I smile and she smiles back.

She holds out her hand. 'I'm Rose.'

I hesitate but take her hand and shake it surprised to find its a firm shake. 'I'm Zane.'

'I know.' She blushes. 'I used to come with Bryce when you used to fight. Until he cheated and knocked you out.' She says obviously trying to impress me by boosting my ego.

'I did not-' Bryce starts but i cut him off.

'No you didn't cheat Bryce.' I turn to Rose. 'He didn't cheat. He won because he was better.'

Rose nods and both Ronnie and Bryce stare at me with open mouths. 'What?'

'What the hell coma were you in?' Ronnie asks.

'What do you mean?'

'You just admitted you got beat. What or should I ask who changed you from an conceited asshole to a mature man?'

I smile at the thought of the girl that makes my heart race with her red hair and blazing green eyes.

'Dude your legit smiling.' Ronnie teased.

'I- don't wanna talk about it.' I gritted out feeling the anger built up inside me again. I went into the locker room before they could talk again and changed. I ran out to the outdoor track and starting running. I put my music in my ears and turned it the whole way up. I ran until my legs were wobbly and the sun started to set. I came back into the gym and ignored the questioning looks from the guys and the longing stares from Rose. I went straight to the punching bags and went at it. With every punch I grunted putting all my anger out onto the heavy bag. I saw my dad flash in my mind with his judgmental words, I see Camille crying telling me to leave her and Tristan alone. I see Tristan grab her and kiss her just because he can. All these things edge me on as I punch harder. I feel the skin on my knuckles break and bleed down my wrists but I don't care. The pain feels good, physical pain will always feel better than the heartache I have after watching the girl I love, love someone else. I punch the bag so hard it falls from the ceiling and crash to the matted floor. I end up being angrier and start kicking the bag until i feel my body being dragged away from it. I see red anger thats it. I can only hear my heart beat slam in my ears. I'm finally snapped out of my red haze when cold water is sprayed on my face. I blink my eyes a few times to focus them and then jerk my head to find fresh water-free air. I take numerous large breaths to control my rapid pants. My heart beat slows as someone shakes my shoulders to snap me away from the anger. I shift my eyes to Ronnie beside me with concern all over his face.

'Zane!? Can you hear me yet?'

I nod and slide away from the freezing water. I lean my head against the tile wall as I let out a sharp breath.

'You have to tell me what's making you like this? Is it a girl that's messing you up this bad?'

I nod again meeting his eyes. 'Camille.' I breath out letting a small smile form on my face.

'Okay well you obviously love her.' I nod again. 'So what's the problem?'

'She loves someone else. Her boyfriend, he's the "good little rich boy". The problem is she hates me, and I still love her. And if I was a good guy I would actually want her to be happy like I've told her, and I do. But I wannabe the only guy who makes her smile and laugh. But This good boy is who she deserves. She doesn't deserve a low life loser like me.' I end sadly looking up at the ceiling. 'Oh and she's the one who found me.'

'When you had your accident?'

I nod. 'She donated her blood to safe my life.'

'Wow. Has she told you how she feels?'

'I know she likes me, but she doesn't believe in telling people she loves them. Its a long story but it's personal to her.'

He nods understandingly. 'So why aren't you fighting for her back? Instead of tearing up my gym.' He teases.

'I let my anger get the best of me and I punched her boyfriend. So she got really mad and told me to leave her and Tristan alone.' I shrug.

He unexpectedly slaps me across the face and then grabs my shoulders hard. 'Get a grip Zane! If you love her then go get her! Even if you get rejected it's better then sitting here feeling bad about yourself and punching everything.'

'You know what? You're right!'

'Hell yeah I am. But it can wait til tomorrow, you can stay with me tonight. Okay?'

'Okay.' He helps me up and he walks me to my truck where I drive to his house. I follow him up the stairs and into his apartment.

'Here's me.' He says unlocking and opening his door. His apartment is simple and modern but decorated more than he probably would have done himself.

'Did you hire someone to decorate?'

He laughs. 'Nope that would be my girl.'

'You have a girlfriend?'

'Actually I'm his fiancé.' Says a blue eyed brunette leaning her long muscular body against the door frame of what I'm guessing is their bedroom.

'Yes you are beautiful.' She smiles and walks to us kissing his lips.

She extends her hand to me and I take it. 'I'm Hayley. You must be Zane?'

'I am. It's great to meet you.'

She smiles and wraps her arms around Ronnie's waist. 'Babe, are you coming to bed?'

He nods eagerly and she laughs. 'Buddy your room is right there.' He points behind me. 'There some of my clothes in there. Just borrow whatever you need, I need to please my lady. I apologize in advance, she's a screamer.' Hayley's face flushes red and she hits Ronnie.

'I'm kidding baby.' But she pouts and turns away from him. 'Hayley..' He whines, he's actually whining. He's got it bad. I know how that feels.

He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her to him. 'I love you so much baby.' He says in her ear and she smiles and drags him to their bedroom slamming the door.

I walk to my room for tonight, sending my mom a quick text letting her know I'm okay. Then I strip to my boxers and jump in bed. Im just about to fall asleep when the screaming starts. And it doesn't end for hours.

Well this is gonna be a long night.
