Author's Note: Well, unfortunately this is the last chapter of The Great Escape. I must admit that I'm a little sad because this has been my favorite story to write.

This is also done the best out of any story I have written. Currently it's at 2K reads and 200+ Votes.

I want to thank everyone for reading (and voting) and I'm glad you've like it. It wouldn't have reached 2K reads if it wasn't for you guys so thank you so much(:

I only ask one thing, please comment on this chapter and just let me know what you thought of the chapter, the story, or both.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoy the final chapter. <3 Rachel

“NEW ORLEANS!” Thomas yelled, entering the McDonough’s house. “YEAH!” Toby yelled in response. I laughed and tossed my bag down the stairs. “Are you coming with us?” Chris asked. “No” I said. “I’m bringing my bag downstairs to put it in the car because I want to.” “Hey, it’s possible.” Thomas said. “Possible” I said. “But not logical.” Thomas stuck his tongue out at me and walked to the kitchen to find something to eat. “Where’s Sierra?” I asked. “In the car, she’ll be in shortly.” Thomas said. “CHRIS!” Connor yelled into the phone. “WHY?!” I looked over at him and he held up his index finger. Connor groaned. “Well okay, just get here as soon as you can.” He hung up and shoved his phone into his pocket. “What’s wrong?” I asked. “Chris is just going to be late so we’ll all be behind.”

“So we’ll leave and they can meet us where we’re staying.” Thomas said. Connor shook his head. “Braiden doesn’t know how to get there and he’s the one driving.” “So why is Chris going to be the one who’s late?” I asked. “Braiden had to pick up him and Emie and Cassy and Emily.” Connor said. “We need to work out a better way to do all this.” Thomas said. “We’re usually fine!” Connor said. “Not true” Riley said, walking downstairs. “We’re almost always late.” “Riley’s right.” Toby said, lugging his suitcase downstairs. Connor sighed. “I know, I know.” He said. “Are we taking the bus?” Thomas asked. “We can't” Riley said. “Not with the girls coming too.” “Well I’m sorry we take up so much room.” Sierra said, joining us in the house.

“I didn’t mean it like that!” Riley cried. Sierra rolled her eyes and plopped down on the couch. “So how long until Chris and company gets here anyways?” I asked. “Well by now it should be ten minutes.” Connor said. “Only ten minutes?” Toby asked. “And we’re still going to be late?” “We’ll be ten minutes late for everything!” Connor cried. “That means we can't stop anywhere for anything.” “We have to stop for food though!” Thomas cried. “You’re eating now.” I said, pointing at his sandwich. “What’s your point?” Thomas asked. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the couch. I leaned my head on the back of the couch and closed my eyes. “Tired?” Connor asked. “A little bit.” I said. “You can take a pillow if you want to” Connor said. “That way you can sleep in the car on the way.”
