{later that night}
Carson's p.o.v: I wake up to pain in my back and abdomen and turn the lamp on and look at the clock; 4:49am. I swing my legs over the side of the bed and go to the bathroom to pee and once there I see blood in my underwear, oh no. "Matt!" I shout freaking out as I pull them back up. He immediately shoots up "what?! What's wrong?!" He says rushing over to me. "I'm ble-bleeding" I stutter. His face goes pale and he pulls his jeans and shoes on and a shirt and picks me up bridal style and rushes out to the car after grabbing his phone and keys, he sits me in and buckles me kissing my forehead and stomach shakily then getting in and turning the car on backing out as he buckles. "What if something's wrong?" I ask nervously. "It'll be fine. I promise" he says sounding like he's gonna cry. He holds my hand tightly and kisses the top of it as he drives, I tear up and wipe them gently as he pulls into the emergency room and gets me out rushing me in. "Someone help! She's thirteen weeks pregnant and bleeding!" He shouts causing a nurse to come over with a wheelchair that he then sits me in. "Name?" She asks wheeling me with Matt hot on her tracks. "Ca-Carson caniff" I manage to squeak out. "Everything will be fine okay. Let's get you checked out" she says getting us in a room where another nurse gets all my information from Matt who is shaking nervously, the first nurse whose name is Carrie immediately hooks me up to the fetal Doppler. I don't hear anything at first causing me to tear up until I hear it, the washing machine sound that is my baby's heart beat. "They are alive and heart beat is strong" she says smiling. "Thank you God" Matt says coming over and kissing all over my face. "I'm gonna run a stress test on you just to check things but I believe you are okay and you were just bleeding because your body has 50% more blood in it now" she says. I nod and smile at Matt. "He/she's okay" he says relieved. "I'm glad" I say taking a deep breath. They do the stress test on me and it comes out normal so they gather my discharge papers. "Even though this ended up being nothing it was a good call coming. It could have been something much worse. Always come to the ER or contact your OBGYN if you have any scares, worries or anything like that" Carrie explains before handing us my paperwork. "Thank you. We will" I say as Matt picks me up. "Thank you ma'am" he says as we leave. He puts me in the car and then gets in,"I was so scared. I don't know what'd I'd do if we lost him or her" he says resting his head on the steering wheel. "I was too and me either baby. It'd kill me" I reply buckling. He leans over and kisses my temple and then my belly for a good three minutes, "I love you little one. So so much." He says wiping the tears off his face that I didn't even know we're falling. He sniffles a bit and turns the car on backing out and then heading home where we I then change cause blood and then lay back down letting Matt hold me as tightly as he can and still be safe for the baby while falling back asleep.
