Carson's p.o.v:
{A month later}
Today is my first actual ultrasound so we finally get to see our little Espinosa as we've all been calling him or her and hear their heartbeat. We still can't tell if it's a boy or a girl but it won't be too much longer because I'm already thirteen weeks and they can tell at sixteen weeks, me and Matt both want a boy but the guys think it's gonna be a girl. I'm currently standing in the kitchen eating watermelon and messing with my flannel sleeve as I wait for Matt to finish getting ready, Taylor is still pissy about the whole situation and doesn't say much about it all. The only guys here currently are Matt and Hayes because the rest decided to go spend two weeks in Colorado with Sammy, Jack, and Jack. Hayes wanted to stay just in case Matt had to go somewhere so I wouldn't be alone or in case something happened it wouldn't be just us "ready love?" Matt asks as he comes downstairs. "Mhm" I mumble putting the watermelon up and rinsing my hand off and then drying it. "Craving fruits means it's likely it's a boy" he smiles. "I know and that's all I want" I reply. He smiles more and grabs his keys and we go to the car, he opens my door for me and closes it once I'm in and then gets in and buckles starting the car. He immediately placed his right hand on my bump as where is stays 90% of the time and drives with his left, it's a short drive to the Dr's office so once there he and I go in and sign in then wait to be called back. "Carson?" A little nurse says. We stand and go back where she checks my weight and measures around my stomach and then takes us to an ultrasound room where we will wait for Dr shields. "What are these?" Matt asks picking up what look like tongs but are actually used to spread open vaginas. "Those open vaginas my dear" I tell him causing his face to go white and dropping the tongs back on the tray. I laugh slightly and watch him get a glove and blow it up and tying it off and then using a pen on the desk to draw a face on it, he smiles really proud of himself and waves it around as Dr shields knocks and then steps in. Matt slowly lowers his hand in embarrassment and I can't help but laugh a bit. "Hello Carson and Matthew" she says ignoring the glove man and sits on the little chair stool thing. "Hi" we say. "How are feeling today?" She asks raising my shirt just above my stomach. "Good, had some intense back pain last night though" I tell her as Matt holds my hand. "Makes sense he or she seems to be more towards your back. Try laying on your side and having mister Matthew rub your back" she says raising her brow at Matt. "Anything to help my love" he says smiling at me. She smiles and puts the gel on my stomach and then grabs the wand and starts rubbing it over my stomach and stopping on the upper right side and then pressing a few buttons making it zoom in on the screen. "There's your baby" she says. I smile and look at Matt whose looking at the screen in amazement, "it's so tiny" he says smiling. "Yeah, but don't worry he or she will get much bigger. And here is the heart beat" she says pressing another button causing it to sound almost like a washing machine. "Woah" Matt says. "It's slow" I say still looking at the screen. "It is slow but not slow enough that anything is wrong. A slower heart beat is a good indicator of a boy" she says pressing a few more buttons to print the pictures. "I hope it's a boy" Matt says. "Most fathers do" Dr shields says tearing the pictures off and folding them up handing them to Matt and then wiping my stomach off. "Thank you" I say putting my shirt down and sitting up. "Your welcome. See you next month." She says smiling and walking out. I look at Matt who is smiling at the pictures, "that's our baby. We made that" he says looking at me. "Yeah we did" I smile. He smiles back and kisses me gently and then helps me down and then we go to the car. We stop and eat then head home, I go in and take my shoes off yawning which Matt notices causing him to pick me up bridal style and carries me upstairs and to the bedroom where he then lays me down and takes my flannel and jeans off me and covering me. "You are literally the best boyfriend ever and already the best daddy ever" i say laying there on my back comfy. "I try baby" he says kissing my forehead. "I'm gonna go talk to Hayes I'll be back up in a bit. Sleep well. And you too little one" he says kissing my stomach and then going downstairs leaving the door open a bit. I smile and rubs my belly as I slowly doze off.
