Chapter Sixteen

Cry’s P.O.V.

            We finally released the kiss and just starred at eachother. It was awkward until I finally broke the silence. “Ever since I’ve met you pewds I’ve felt like there is hope in my life, like I have a reason to live. But now I know that God put me into this world for a reason, It’s to be with you” I exclaimed. Pewds smiled and was turning a bright red.

            Pewds grabbed my hand and stood up. “Follow me cry! I have to show you something!” Pewds shouted with excitement. And with that we got into his car and drove away from his apartment. Ten minutes later we finally arrived at this old park. Even though the playground was a little torn up and decrepit the shimmering evergreen trees and the silky green grass still made everything look beautiful.

            “SWINGS!” pewds yelled with excitement and ran over to the swings. He sat on the swing and began to swing himself high in the air. I laughed at his child behavior. “You’re such an idiot!” I called out to him. “I may be! But atleast I know how to have fun!” He said while winking at me . I giggled and rolled my eyes. A moment later I ran over to the swing next to pewds and also started acting like an idiot.

            As time passed by we played games and wrestled with eachother and also gave eachother a few kisses. It was when the sun was setting that I realized how long we had been there for. We were sitting on the swings starring at the sky. I turned my head to look over at pewds, but I noticed that he was already staring at me. Suddenly my heart began to beat like a drum and my hands were getting clammy. “S-So, why did u want to show me this place again?” I asked nervously. “Oh this isn’t the place” He said while grabbing my hand. He guided me into the beautiful forest that was behind the playground. As we got deeper and deeper into the forest everything looked more dead and dull. “Here we are” Pewdie said while pointing to an old hollow tree.

            We walked over to the tree and sat underneath it. “What are we doing here?” I asked curiously. “When I was a kid this used to be my secret place where I would feel peaceful and happy. This is the place where I would be myself… without being controlled by anyone” He exclaimed nervously. I noticed that Pewds began to tense up so I held his hand securely into mine. “What’s wrong Pewds?” I asked.  He looked up at me and tears began to form in his twinkling eyes again.
