Chapter Seventeen

            Felix’s P.O.V.

            Cry and I were still on the couch kissing until we finally released and sat there awkwardly. A moment later Cry finally said something, “Ever since I’ve met you pewds I’ve felt like there is hope in my life, like I have a reason to live. But now I know that God put me into this world for a reason, It’s to be with you”. When he said that my stomach was filled with butterflies and my heart was full of joy. This was when I knew that he was the one for me, and that I should also share my dark secrets of my past with him.

            I grabbed his hand and stood up. “Follow me cry! I have to show you something!” I shouted with excitement. We got into the car and I drove him to the old park that I used to go to when I was a kid. Once we got there I got a sudden fear that maybe it was too early to tell Cry my secret so I decided to act childish and hang at the playground for a little while.

            “SWINGS!” I yelled with excitement and ran over to the swings. I sat on the swing and began to swing myself high in the air. Cry laughed at my stupidity. “You’re such an idiot!” he called out to me. “I may be! But atleast I know how to have fun!” I said while winking at him. He giggled and came running over to the swings and started acting like an idiot with me.

            We had the time of our lives with eachother. We ended up staying there longer than I expected. We were on the swings together; I looked up at the sky and noticed that the sun was setting behind the clouds. “Wow! It’s been that long?” I thought to myself. I turned my head and starred at Ryan’s beautiful face. Everything was perfect about him. His smile made my sad emotions disappear, his dark silky hair swayed through the soft wind, and Oh my God! His eyes turned me on the most! The blue and green colors blended together making his eyes twinkle in the sunlight.

            I didn’t realize how long I’d been staring at him until he I noticed his staring at me. I noticed that his cheeks were turning red. “S-So, why did u want to show me this place again?” he asked nervously. “Oh this isn’t the place” I said while grabbing his hand. We stood up and I took him into the beautiful forest that was right behind the playground. I took him deep into the darker part of the forest to find my secret place.

            “Here we are” I said while pointing to the old hollow tree.

            We walked over to the tree and sat underneath it. “What are we doing here?” he asked curiously. “When I was a kid this used to be my secret place where I would feel peaceful and happy. This is the place where I would be myself… without being controlled by anyone” I exclaimed nervously. I began to tense up as the memories began flooding through my mind again. Cry seems to notice this and held my hand tight. “What’s wrong Pewds?” he asked. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes.

            “Well it all started in 3rd grade, I was moving to a new school and I seemed to fit in pretty easily, but it seemed like the teacher liked me way more than the kids. I don’t think anyone ever liked me as much as my teacher did at the time. His name was Mr. Sadberry and he creeped me out. He began to give me way more attention than the rest of the kids, even the kids in my class began to realize it. My friend Jimmy suggested that he had a secret crush on me, but he was a married man with three children how could he possibly love me? I ignored that thought until later that day something had changed my whole life.
