Lucid's POV
I sat in the apartment looking at the floor, Scout pawed at my feet and looked up at me sadly. Geena looked at me worried and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"He'll be fine Lucid. Your brother is strong."
I sighed and placed a hand over my mouth, "The only thing I'm scared about is if he ended up somewhere and someone isn't willing to help him that he'll just shut down and won't be able to do anything."
I looked at her firmly, "When I'm not there to help him in a time of need he freaks out. What if someone doesn't help him?"
Geena smiled sadly, "He'll get help, I'm sure of it."
She pointed towards the door, "I'm gonna go now if that's okay. I need to get home anyway before it gets too dark or I'll never make it home safely."
I started to get up, "I can take you if you want."
She pushed me back and shook her head, "You've got too much on your mind, just stay here I'll be fine."
I nodded sadly, "See you around then?"
She nodded and pecked me on the cheek, "I had fun other than what happened with your brother. Thanks for everything."
She smiled slightly and I smiled back.
"No problem."
She waved as she walked out, and as soon as the door was closed Scout popped up next to me on the couch.
"Where did master go?!"
He grabbed my shoulders and looked at me sadly.
I shook my head, "I don't know, but could you put your damn clothes back on."
He rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers. His clothes appeared back on him and I sighed.
He tilted his head, "What's wrong?"
I shook my head, "I don't know what to do! I don't know where to look to find him or anything!"
I placed my forehead between my knees and covered my head.
Scout suddenly smack me on back and smiled brightly at me, "I know a way I can find out where he is!!!"
I looked up, "How?!"
This time I was the one who grabbed his shoulders and shook him around, "Tell me how!"
He held up his hands and chuckled slightly, "One sec hold your horses!"
He rolled off the couch and sat in the middle of the room, reaching inside his shirt pocket he pulled out a small charm and attached it to his collar. It was a small crystal sphere with stars painted all across it.
"I attached one to master's earring. So it should work."
He cupped the charm in his hands and whispered something into his hands. The crystal started to glow blue and the air in front of Scout started to flicker. Then a wide hologram appeared and we saw a large room with a large glass wall, a bunch of chairs, and a lot of people in it. But what caught my eye was my brother floating in a giant tube.
"Nyctalgia!"
I wanted to reach through and grab him but I couldn't. All eyes turned on me and one guy ran up to me and looked at me surprised.
"Your his brother correct? His twin?!"
I nodded, "Who are you and what are you doing to my brother?!"
The guy had long bright silver hair with yellow eyes and pale skin.
"My name is Rei, I found your brother and I helped him. He kinda got attacked by the giant cat like creature sitting next to him, which is kinda ironic cause the at loves him now and follows him every where. Anyway I was gonna train him and help him with what is fated for him."
I frowned, "What are you talking about? Fate?"
Rei sighed, "The prophecy of the twins! I know you've seen it! Your both fated to follow different paths to defeat the forces of evil together."
I shook my head, "Different paths? Forces of evil?"
I thought for a moment then my eyes widened, "Holy shit..."
Rei nodded, "A hooded man been following you around lately?"
I nodded, "Yeah actually."
He spread his arms out and turned to the rest of the people, "I fucking told you it is started!!!"
I frowned again, "What has started?"
He turned back to me, "The war. Between good and evil."
I sighed and ran my hands through my hair, "Joy, I just wanted to fight in a war."
Rei smiled, "You sound just like your brother."
My eyes watered, "I do?"
He nodded, "No matter how far apart you two may be, you will always have aspects of each other to remind you of the other."
I nodded, "True, but it still didn't feel great when he was taken right off the streets before my very eyes. Not knowing if I were to see him again."
Rei nodded and bit his lip, "Yeah that was partially my fault cause I made a devise to teleport people and guess that was how he got here. I didn't even touch the thing though, fate brought him here."
I rolled my eyes, "Sure you didn't know what are you doing to my brother?"
He pointed at Nyctalgia, "He is facing the mental test to become a Jedi in training."
My eyes widened, "Jedi? Meaning like THE Jedi!"
Rei chuckled and placed a hand on his forehead, "I had a feeling you were a fan too. Yes THE Jedi."
I frowned, "He was taken halfway across the galaxy to the Republic?!"
Rei nodded, "Yeah no wonder my machine is out of whack now."
I rolled my eyes, "You must think that machine is your child or something."
He frowned and pointed at me, "Hey! I put my blood, sweat, and tears into that thing. LITERALLY!"
I held my hands up, "Okay fine whatever! But how do I get there to see my brother?"
Rei shook his head, "It's not foretold for you to come here yet. Now Scout on the other hand!"
He pointed at Scout who was sitting by my leg, Scout perked up at the mention of his name.
"He has to come right away."
I sighed and crossed my arms, "Wow the universe really doesn't want me to see my brother does it."
Rei sighed, "It's not that, it's just you have your own part in this too. And you have to do it alone just like he does."
He smiled, "But don't worry you'll have your own helper to help guide you."
I raised an eyebrow, "And whose that?"
Rei smirked and folded his arms behind his back, "That's for me to know and you to find out. Scout?"
Scout looked at Rei and smiled, "Howdy Rei!"
Rei smiled and nodded towards me, "Give him one too."
He nodded and stood up next to me.
"What are you doing?"
Scout brushed my hair away from my right ear and I pushed his hand away.
"I'm giving you one of these!"
He shook another small charm in his fingers and I looked from him to the charm.
He sighed and rolled his eyes, "All I'm doing is piercing your ear dummy."
He turned my head and took hold of my ear, "Okay brace yourself."
I felt something pierce through my ear lobe, and before I could react the charm was fastened into my ear.
"Ow!"
I grabbed my ear and glared at him. Scout smirked and frowned, "That your first piercing?"
I nodded and he slapped my shoulder, "Glad I could do it for you!"
I chuckled, "Thanks? I guess."
He smiled, "Now you can communicate with your brother, me, and Rei whenever you need!"
I toyed with it on my ear, "How do I use it though?"
Scout pointed at his own, "Press the center to call someone then say who you wanna call. If you want a location grab it with two fingers and press the sides of it and a map will appear and show you your location or someone else's location."
"What's that do though?"
I pointed at a marking off to the right of his.
He smiled, "Oh that's just a mode of transportation you get with it! Mine's kinda stupid to most people though."
He rubbed the back of his head.
"You've got one too though! See!"
He held up a small mirror that can out of no where and I looked in it. There was a small moon engraved into mine.
"What do I do if I need it? Press it?"
Scout nodded, "Yep!"
I nodded, "Okay, Where do I go from here though?"
Rei smiled, "You'll start right now. I can transport you."
I nodded, "Okay, let's go then."
Rei smirked, "A scattered dream that's like a far off memory, a far off memory that's like a scattered dream."
His voice echoed and sounded far off and close at the same time, I frowned.
"What are you doing?"
He didn't answer, "I wanna line the pieces up."
The floor shook and I felt wind billowing around me, ruffling my clothes and my hair.
"Yours and mine."
I saw him smile and Scout smiled a big toothy grin at me before I disappeared. I felt like I was floating in nothingness. I saw shapes and figures in it but I couldn't see them very well. It was like they were puzzle pieces jumbled up on the floor and you were trying to put them back together. Before I could comprehend what I saw in the nothingness my feet fell onto something solid. I stumbled and fell forward a couple steps until I regained my balance.
I shook my head, "Well that was a strange ride."
I stretched, my muscles felt stiff after that and I groaned.
I looked down and my clothes had changed. My pants were black and had a bunch of pockets on the sides. I had black and white shoes unlike any I had seen before. I had a white tank with a black key on it. And my hair fell in front of my face, except the side of my head where it was shaved was now bleach blond. There was also a chain around my next with a key that also looked like a blade.
I smiled, "Cool keyblade, I know what I'm in for now."
Some one tapped on my shoulder and I turned and saw two boys and a girl.
The oldest boy had long white hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a silver vest with yellow accents, and baggy blue pants. The second boy was wearing mostly black and had spikey brown hair and blue eyes. The girl was wearing a pink dress and had brown hair and blue eyes as well. They wear all around my height except the second boy, he obviously hadn't hit his growth spirt yet.
The eldest boy raised an eyebrow at me, "You Lucid?"
I nodded my head and smiled, "I am."
The boy smiled, "Glad to meet you finally! I'm..."
"I know your names. In my world your all video game characters. Your Riku."
I smiled and then pointed at the other two, "And that's Sora and that's Kira."
Riku smirked and placed his hands on his hips, "Jeez they make everything at your place do t they?"
I shrugged, "Mostly."
"What'd you do before you got messed up in this?"
I chuckled, "I was actually a desk worker unlike my brother. I worked at YouTube."
Sora smiled, "That's awesome! What do you do there?!"
I chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck, "Nothin really fancy I'm just a software designer and I upload all the videos and all. No big deal."
Sora smiled, "That's still cool! You probably make more money than I ever could though!"
I laughed, "That's probably true except my little bro makes a little more money than I do."
Kira tilted her head and smiled, "What's he do?"
I smiled kindly, "He's a pro skater."
I pretended like I was shooting myself and Kira giggled.
Riku cleared his throat, "We don't have time to chit-chat where we are now. We have to go."
I heard a loud crash and we all turned and saw heartless swarming into the large courtyard we were in.
"We gotta go now!"
Riku grabbed my arm and we all started running. Kira tripped and fell and I ran back to help her.
"Go!"
I pushed her towards the others and stayed where I was. She didn't move at first.
"GO!"
She nodded and ran after she saw the look in my eyes. I turned to face the heartless head on. The necklace started to glow and a keyblade appeared in my right hand.
The heartless circled around me, "Your not getting past me."
