Natsu's pov

I promised Wendy I would tell Luce the truth
But
I can't
Not just yet

I sat there after class watching her talk and laugh with levy

Everything was going fine
She was happy
She made new friends and I'm happy for her

I got up from my seat ready to leave when a piece of paper fell out of my binder

"Here flamebrain, you dropped thi-" ice princess picked up the paper and looked at it

I quickly grabbed the paper out of his hands and ran

Inside the note
Was me trying to practice what I would say to Luce when I confessed...

ICE PRINCESS READ IT!!!
IF HE TELLS ANYONE, HE IS DEAD!!!

I saw gray at P.E. when I walked up to him
"Hey ice princess!" I called out

"What do you want flame brain?!" Gray yelled while we butted heads

"The note. Did you read it?!" I asked

"Note? The note you dropped on the floor?? Of course I didn't read it! Why was I going to read something that belongs to you!!" Gray crossed his arms

"Good." And with that I walked away

'That was a close one.... He could've read it..'

Lucys pov

I was with levy during gym class when I heard Natsu yelling out to gray

"Those two don't like each other, do they?" I asked looking at the two

"It's not that they don't like each other. They're like brothers who always fight but if anything, they still love and care for each other. That's how they've always been" levy explained

"Oh.." I stared at the two boys

"Yeah.. Don't think about it too much, Erza always comes and stops them two from fighting." Levy said following my stare

"The only difference is Natsu is just walking away today....that's unusual..." We both watched Natsu as he walked away from gray, calmly.

I simply love writing short chapters don't I?
