Lucys pov

"Mom this is too much clothing to try on!" I said barely being able to hold a pile taller than me of clothing

"There's no such thing as "too much" dear." She replied adding another skirt

"Why are we even shopping right now??" I asked

"For your date with Natsu of course~" she giggled

I almost dropped all the clothes due her response

"You want to look good for him don't you?" She looked at me

"Well yes, but mom. If and I'm saying if
Natsu even likes me what so ever, I want it to be for the way I am not the way I dress to impress him" I blushed slightly

"Oh fine, have it your way. I'll put everything back. Just try this on, for me?" She begged

I looked at the cute tan dress she had in her hand (Middle outfit in picture) "ok, I'll try it on. And if I like it can we get it and stop shopping? I have homework to do just so you know"

"Promise" she told me handing me the outfit

I left her there to put all the clothes back to where they belong. I walked to the dressing room to try on the dress 

"Hey mom, do you think this looks alright?" I said exiting the dressing room in the dress

"That looks beautiful on you! I'll totally buy it for you with a necklace or bracelet?" She told me

"You really want me to dress up for this date don't you?" I smiled and shook my head at her

"Ill be back" I walked back to the dressing room to put my school uniform back on

On their way home

"You know mom, you want me to dress up all nice for a date in which I didn't even get to receive all the information about" I looked over to her

"Oh? That's right, my apologies. But, I did hear Natsu say he'll text you the rest of the information"

"That's true. But, he might forget to do so" I said

"I doubt that. I'm sure he won't forget to send you the info, for all you know he might just tell you the time and pick you up like he did on your beach date" she winked

"That wasn't a date, his sister was there." I pointed out

"Correct, but you came home late, and you had lots of fun with everything you guys did" she smirked

I just rolled my eyes and looked at my phone

'No new messages from Natsu.. Maybe mom is right about him picking me up. All he told me was the date and time' I thought to myself
