Alaina's POV

I finally got off work. I worked at a small diner just a few blocks away. I walked home like I usually did which took about twenty minutes.

When I got home, in the kitchen was Janice. She was chopping up vegetables for dinner.

"Hey hun, how was work?" She smiled looking up at me.

I took off my coat.

"It was the same." I simply answered.

-----------------

It was ten at night when the girls in my room fell asleep. I had been all dressed up and ready to go out.

Suddenly my phone vibrated.

"Hello?" I whispered carefully not to wake the girls up.

"I'm outside let's go!" Karen said into the phone.

I hopped out of my window and slid into Karen's car.

"Finally what took you so long!"

"I was trying not to wake the girls." I replied.

"You ready for this party tonight? It's supposed to be huge!" She said excitedly putting her car into drive.

"When am I never?" I chuckled.

After about forty minutes, we pulled up to a frat house.

"I have a feeling about tonight." I smiled looking up at the house.

We walked inside the house together and Karen immediately found someone she knew.

As she was having small talk with him I looked over and saw a familiar face.

"Karen!" I pulled her aside.

"Hm?"

"That's the boy!" I motioned her with my eyes.

"The one who beat up John?" She asked looking him up and down.

"Yeah that's him! How weird we end up at the same place once again." I chuckled and crossed my arms.

"Yeah...weird. Well he's hot so if you don't make a move on him, I sure as hell will." She smirked.

"What?-" Before I could finish, Karen pushed me so that my back bumped into the guy.

Not gonna lie, he was cute with all his tattoos.

"Aye yo chill." He said and turned around.

He then noticed who I was.

"Hey you're the girl from the other night. In the parking lot." He pointed out.

"Yeah sorry. My friend pushed me, didn't mean to bump into you." I apologized.

"It's cool." He said.

I then had nothing else to say so I just nodded and walked away. I've always been bad with boys for as long as I could remember. I guess because I wasn't really trying to put myself out there. I kind of just put my focus more towards drugs and partying.

I found Karen standing with a group of guys. I love Karen, she just had a bad intention on flirting with every guy and doing the nasty with every guy.

"Hey how did it go?" She asked nudging me.

"Horrible." I playfully rolled my eyes.

I glanced upstairs and noticed an open door to a bathroom that some people were in. I could see they were snorting coke.
