The Thunderbolt Pack

Chapter 3

             "Is that Drake?" James asked Cindy. "I know that howl anywhere it is very much Drake." Cindy answered no sure how to react to this. "who is Drake?" Kieth asked. Before Cindy could answer she transformed into her wolf form and ran to the sound of where Drakes howl came from. She knew him very well so she knew where he would be. She got a mind link from James Be careful, and let me know if he is ok. She mind linked back I will and will do. Please don't hurt Kieth! I don't care what he says he is still my....well you know! James replied back We will talk about that one later. I am not finished talking to you about it. She knew he didn't like Kieth and but this was the second time she thought she found her mate. The first one was Drake....yeap Drake is my ex who I still care for deeply my wolf goes crazy when I think of him or see him. Crazier then when I met Kieth. Maybe Kieth isn't my mate maybe its Drake, I don't know all I know is I need to see Drake and I need to see what is wrong!

       "Who is Drake?! Come on James answer me!" Kieth begged for answers but James wasn't answering anything but was on the brink of saying something. "JAMES! I NEED ANSWERS!" Kieth shouted. "Watch your mouth! I am the beta and Cindy our alpha is not here right now which makes me alpha until she is back! You understand me! I do not need to answer any of your questions, you will have to wait because there is no way I am answering your questions and I have no right too. Cindy is the one who should tell you! So leave me alone before I rip your head off or send you packing!" James answered very agitated. Kieth knew better not to answer but he did it anyway. "You might want to watch yourself because I am Cindy's mate!" Kieth answered back at this point they were both boiling with anger and about to attack each other. "MIGHT! You MIGHT be her mate! You do not know the half of it. You do not know how Cindy really feels! So back off!" James argued back. Before Kieth could speak James had transformed into wolf form and was ready to attack Kieth. Then before James could do anything Brian jumped in and he was in wolf form when he jumped in thin air got between them. Brian was a little wolf and was brown but it didn't matter the size he was skilled enough to take any wolf when necessary. Brian growled at James to back down and calm down, no he didn't know what was going on but he knew that fighting this new wolf was not the answer especially when he never made the first move. James mind linked Brian Back down! He deserves everything he is about to get! Brian replied NO! I do not care if you are alpha right now! You know Cindy's rule. No matter what unless your opponent makes the first move don't touch them! Especially when the werewolf is not in wolf form! Come on James you know better, you are just letting your anger get the best of you now please back down and go calm down. James did what Brian told him to do because he knew he was right and Cindy would never forgive him if he hurt Kieth. James ran off to his room and changed into some clothes and stayed in his room to calm down.

        "Thanks, I went way out of line on him I didn't mean to yell or shout I am just frustrated and I also don't know how to control myself sometimes." Kieth explained to Brian. "Its alright, just be careful James gets very agitated easily especially when its about Cindy since he does care for her. Who are you anyway? My name is Brian." Brian says. "My name is Kieth and I am Cindys mate" Kieth said holding out his hand to shake his hand. "Mate? Well anyway welcome to the pack." Brian shook Kieths hand. "Yeah mate, is there a problem with that?' Kieth said. "No, I was just shocked that's all. But I got to go make sure James is ok. Please make yourself at home" Brian replied back. Brian ran off to James.

      "James? Are you ok now?" Brian walked into the room. "Yeah bro, you can come in I'm decent and I am cool" James replied back. "Good, what happened back there anyway?" Brian asked. "Kieth pushed me too far. He wanted answers about Drake and I wouldn't say anything because its not my place too its Cindy's and then he started yelling at me and demanding. You know how I get when that happens." James explained. "Drake? How much have I missed?" Brian said. James explained everything to Brian and as he was he seen Brian's face light up to hearing him say Drake was back and Cindy ran to him. We all liked him so much and we were all heartbroken when Cindy and Drake split not because they didn't have feelings but because Drake had to go and we were never told why. But we all knew Cindy never lost feelings for him and she tried to replace him and move on but they all knew that wasn't going to work. "So, is that where Cindy is now? Meeting Drake?" Brian asked very excited. "Yes, and I am hoping he stays this time and then we can get rid of Kieth" James says. "Now, Now James we cant be harsh or mean to Kieth. It seems like he cares a lot about Cindy. We should give him a chance James. I know you don't like him but if Cindy feels the same and they do become mates we are going to have to live with him." Brian explained. "Yes, I understand but I have tiny hope that he isn't her mate and Drake and Cindy end up together" James said. "Come on we need to introduce Kieth to the rest of our little pack" James said.

    Cindy was almost to Drake she could smell him and feel his presence and she loved the feeling. "Drake!!" She called out. "I am here Cindy!" he called back. Drake was in his human form and she felt her heart drop. He was gorgeous she thought. He had blonde hair, blue eyes and on top of it he had buffed up but not too much to where he looked like a monster. She ran behind a tree and changed into human form and changed into her backup clothes. She walked out and ran to Drake and gave him a huge hug. Drake hugged back as well. "Man I missed you so much Cindy!" he said. "I have missed you too Drake!" Cindy said. "Why do you smell like another wolf?" he asked. "Oh, um that's Kieth your smelling. I just met him, he is my um...mate?" she said very frightened to the reaction Drake would have. "Mate? well....that is good? Has he marked you yet?" he asked. "No! not yet" she said. "Yet? Well as long as your happy I am happy" he said. "I do not know yet though I just met the guy and my wolf goes a little nuts when I am with him but not as nuts as I am with.......Anyway! What are you doing back?" she said. "I wanted to pay a nice visit to my favorite girl! I was also wondering if I could join your pack?" he asked. "Why?" she asked. "I ran away from my pack, I couldn't stand one more day there. So what do you say?" he asked. "Yes! Yes, you can join my pack!" she said very excitedly. "Alright Drake, lets get back my pack before James kills Kieth." she said. They both change into wolf form and run off to the pack house.

     She has a mate? Already? Why the heck am I so jealous. No I have not lost feelings for her and my wolf certainly hasn't lost any feeling either! I just cant stand the thought of my mate Cindy finding a mate that really isn't her mate. Cant she see that? I wonder who this Kieth guy is and I hope me and my wolf don't kill him. I couldn't hurt Cindy like that but with the sound of it James cant stand him. I have learned that if James don't trust someone or cant stand someone then to stay away or protect. Now I know to keep a close eye out and protect my mate. She is my mate whether she sees it or not. I have hated myself every day since I left her but I didn't have a choice my pack was moving and I didn't have the confidence at the time to stay and leave the pack. But after the fight in my pack I had the courage and strength to finally leave and get out of that place. I was depressed and this is the happiest I have ever been. They finally arrive at the pack house and the first people they see is Kieth and James. Cindy and Drake go behind trees and go back to human form and put on the spare clothes. Cindy knew she was in for it from Kieth and she knew he would want answers and she wasn't ready explain herself or anything and she had a feeling something went wrong because James didn't look so good.
