The annoying buzzing of my alarm clock woke me up. I slapped it off hastily and looked at the clock, 9:30. Great this gives me an hour to get dress I thought. I pulled off my spread and walked out into the hallway to wake up my brother.
"Josh, get up we have to leave home in an hour" I said stifling a yawn."I'm already up" he said as he walked out of his room fully dressed heading down the stairs.
I walked back into my room took a shower and did my morning routine which consist of brushing and flossing my teeth, washing my face, and stretching. I exit my bathroom and picked out my outfit. A pair of lightly washed skinny jeans, white and black crop top, and my black sandals. I put my hair into a messy bun. I didn't even bother with makeup. I made up my bed grabbed my phone and side purse and headed down the stairs.
"Good morning" I said to my parents as I grabbed a granola bar and orange juice from the fridge."Morning sweetie" said my dad as he kissed my forehead.
"Morning sweet heart, are you ready for orientation?" Questioned my mom.
"Yeah, I think so..should I be nervous?"
"No, not at all just making sure because its a new school, and its your last year" my mom said.
"Hurry, I don't want to be late" Josh said as he texted rapidly onto his phone.
"Okay, okay I'm coming" I said as I grabbed the keys to the Mercedes.
"Bye guys, love you" me and my brother said together. As we walked out the door my brother said "I don't think I can ever get used to this weather." He took off his snapback and began fanning with it.
"I don't think I can ever get used to going to a new school" I muttered.
"Let's just try to make the most of it and at least we can experience this together " my brother said rubbing my head.
Even though I'm older he thinks because of his height he has an advantage on me. "Okay" I say removing his hands from my head.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++As I pulled into the parking lot of the school, I can already see the crowd of students making their way into the door. As we exited the car a girl in a red, black, and white cheer uniform approached me.
"Um, what are you doing? Thats my parking space"
"Oh boy!" Josh muttered
"Okay, whatever I'll move" I rolled my eyes and turned to my brother. "Josh wait for me at the door I'll be there in a minute"
"Okay" he said as he looked over at the red head cheerleader.
As I carefully pulled out of the parking space and into the next, the red head approached me once more.
"Next time you decide to take my parking space I wont be as nice, but since your new I will let you slide. Got it?" she said as she walked away.As I continued to the entrance of the school my brother came and said "seniors meet in the cafeteria, and the freshman meet in the courtyard".
"Okay text me when they let you out" I said retrieving my schedule, a map of the school, and my locker number and combination. As I walked around the school looking for the cafeteria, a petite girl with smooth cream like skin, blonde curls that reached past her shoulders, skinny jeans and a red t-shirt, red lipstick, and ocean blue eyes approached me.
"Excuse me, but I couldn't help but notice you, are you looking for the cafeteria?" She asked nervously.
