Ch.5 Party people"
When Ethan and I finally made it outside of the gym, I let his hand go.
"Hey look I'm sorry about that" I said looking at the ground.
"Why did you do it?" He paused "I know, because you think I'm so hot you can't resist" he began smirking.
"I do not....I-I" Ethan began to laugh uncontrollably.
I stood there awkwardly getting mad at myself for my lack of words. When he finally stopped laughing, I walked to the car and closed the door. He joined me and I pulled out my phone and headphones.
Maddie got in the car shortly after and we drove off. When the car stopped we were in front of the pizza parlor.
"This is great I'm starving" Maddie cheered.
"Why are we here?" I ask.
"So we can eat something babydoll, I know your starving" Ethan smirked.
"Stop calling me that" I hissed.
"C'mon" Maddie linked our arms together and lead us to a booth in the back of the pizzeria. When we say down, a waitress came to our table.
"Hi, I'm Mandy and I'll be your server for today."can I start you guys off with something to drink?" She said .
"I'll have a sprite" Ethan said
"Lemonade" Maddie said.
"Lemonade also" I said
We looked over the menus and placed our order. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, Maddie ordered a medium cheese pizza, and Ethan ordered a medium meat lovers pizza and 8-piece wing.
"You guys did awesome today" Ethan said.
"Thank you" Maddie and I said.
"Kass are you nervous about school starting Monday?" Maddie asked.
"Not really, I'm still trying to get used to being in California y'know." I said
"Don't worry, it will get better with time" Maddie said.
"Did you have a boyfriend back home?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah, his name was my homework, my job, and my cheering" I state plainly. Maddie and Ethan began laughing.
"What?" I ask
"You have no life" Ethan laughed.
"Yeah, you really don't " Maddie piped in.
"I do too have a life" I argued.
"Let's go to a party tonight" Ethan smirked.
"No, of course not" I said.
"Exactly, you have no life" Maddie said laughing.
"What kind of party?" I asked.
Ethan looked surprised than said "A last party before school starts Monday"
"Okay, I'm in" I said surprising myself.
"Really?" Maddie asked shocked.
