Ch.3 "Starbucks too"

I took a quick shower, I pulled out my navy blue sundress that reaches above my knees, white flats and put my hair into a ponytail and headed downstairs.

I arrived at the table and the door bell rung "I got it" I said getting up from my seat.

When I opened the door there was a tall woman with long blonde curly hair in a black dress, A tall man in a blue shirt and black slacks, a little girl she had to be about five years old in a pretty pink dress, and of course Ethan in a navy blue polo button down shirt and dark skinny jeans.

"Hi, come in" I said.

"Hi, welcome to our home" my mom greeted hugging all of them.

Ethan looked at me smirked and wink. I rolled my eyes as they began to introduce themselves.

"Hi, I'm Natalie Smith, this is my husband Jake, my daughter Katie, and my son Ethan"

"I'm Audrey Johnson, this is my Husband Matt, my son Josh, and my daughter Kassidy "

"Come in settle down" my dad said.

We sat down my dad sat at the head of the table, my mom to his right my brother to his left, I sat next to my brother, Katie sat next to me, Ethan in front of me his mom next to him and his dad at the end.
As we began to eat, my mom was the first to speak.

"So Ethan, what school are you attending?"

"Lakewood" he said stuffing macaroni into his mouth.

"Ethan, don't be rude" his mom scolded.

"Sorry" he said mouth still stuffed. I began to laugh and he rolled his eyes.

"So, Kass are you a senior this year?" Mr.Smith asked this time.

"Yes" I replied smiling.

"Ethan is also, maybe you guys will have a class or two together." He said.

"Actually we do" Ethan replied with a smirk."We have Chemistry 2 together."

"Well thats good if you need help, Kass will be happy to help" my mom said cheerfully.

"Mom!" I exclaimed. "Maybe he doesn't need help". I said hopeful that he wouldn't.

"I will definitely keep that in mind" Ethan said smirking.

The rest of dinner went on consisting of questions from Ethan's parents about our life in Louisiana, winking from Ethan, me kicking Ethan under the table, and Josh completely zoning in and out of the conversation.

When I finished washing the dishes my mom called out. "Kass, would you come so we can walk out the Smiths'".

"Coming" I said drying off my hands.

"Ethan come over anytime you like" I heard my dad say as I entered the family room.

"Oh, boy" I muttered to myself.

"It was nice meeting you guys" I said. Ethan's little sister run up to me and hugged me.

"I'm glad I met you, now I don't have to play with Ethan anymore".

I laughed at her and hugged her back.

"Maybe we can play in the park sometimes" I said.

"Okay" she giggled and ran to her mom.

"Goodbye, it was nice meeting y'all" Said Josh finally using our southern dialect since we moved here.

"Ethan do you wanna play COD sometimes" he practically begged.
