Ch.8

"A church, you brought us to a church!" Ethan laughed.

"Well, you do need Jesus in your life bro." Kayden said laughing.

"Yes, I wanted to come to youth group. Is that a problem?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Yes, I haven't been to church since elementary school." Ethan sighed.

"Well now is your chance to restart" I said pulling his arm. I tried to get him into the door but he stood there laughing as I struggled to move him.

"Trying to feel my muscles?" Ethan smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"No I'm trying to bring a heathen to church" I retorted with a smile.

"Well your not such an angel yourself."

Everyone began laughing as Ethan and I pitched insults back and forth. About five minutes later Ethan finally said he would come into the church.

We began to walk into the doors with Jaree, Maddie, Amber, Kayden, Jayden, Jake, and Luke following  us, laughing as he groaned.

"It was not that bad" I laughed as we entered the diner.

We walked to the back and sat in the biggest booth for all of us. The booth was kind of circular, Jaree, Maddie, Amber and I sat on one side, while Jayden, Kayden, Jake, Ethan, and Luke sat on the other side.

"Yes it was. Almost every girl single in the church were staring at the guys" Jaree said.

"Even when we introduced ourselves they were fanning and drooling" Kayden laughed.

"I thought one of the girls was about to jump over the seat to come over to us" Ethan laughed.

"Well did you guys atleast like the experience at all?" I asked them.

"Yes, I enjoyed myself." Luke said as he smiled at me. I turned my head as I felt myself blushing.

We placed our order for our drinks and everyone began to discuss the topic we had at the church.

"Hi are you guys ready to order?" The waiter came back and took our orders than we returned to our conversation.

"I don't really attend church often but I would do it again if you guys would like to start making that our Friday night routine" Jayden said as he ate his fries.

"I don't know.. I kind of didn't feel up to it today" said Maddie.

"Well I'm all for that plan" said Luke."what about you Kayden?"

"Well I would say yes but you guys know our games are on Friday nights so maybe we can do it after football season"

"Oh yeah that sounds like a good idea because we have to cheer at the games" said Jaree.

"I don't care about it because I'm not even going back" said Ethan.

"Well you can keep your stupid comments to yourself " I said rolling my eyes.

"Why are you getting so offended babydoll...you really wanted me to come?"Ethan said smirking.

"Nah, your not important and stop calling me that" I said.

"Awe it's okay-"
