Ranmaru's p.o.v

I woke up with my body all sore and tensed up. As I opened up my eyes I realized I was still in the music room. My bass was placed aside carefully and I was covered with a blanket.

"Where did this blanket come from?" I tugged it off and stretched.

"Oh my god, you're still here?" The door of the music room opened and Misaki showed up with a lunch box in her hands.

"What happened? what time it is?" I tried to find my phone.

"It's ten a.m."

"What?" I rubbed my eyes. "Why didn't you wake me up yesterday?"

"You were too cute so I just covered you with a blanket." She answered simply.

"I am not in the mood for your jokes."

She bit her lower lip and handed me the lunch box. "You can have this though I bet you want to go and shower first."

"Why are you giving me food?" I asked suspiciously.

"Because you haven't eaten anything yet." She smiled.

"Thanks."

"You can check the song, I think you'll like the ending. I asked the producer when we should come to the studio to record the song. He said the sooner the better so I scheduled today after three." She grabbed the paper from the ground and handed it to me. "It needs your approval though."

I nodded taking the paper too. "Alright. Um.. thanks for the food."

"You're welcome" She ruffled my hair playfully and then rushed out of the music room.

Did she just? Casually touch me?

Misaki's p.o.v

I have never been more motivated to work than today. I was a maiden in love. Well... I glanced at my reflection. More like a demon in love.

Especially with my extra edgy look today.

My manager was glaring at me with a serious expression on his face.

"You are a manager not a lawyer of a convict. Smile." I told him.

"I only want to see what kind of people you agreed working with, without asking me ." He said as he is judging me for something I did wrong.

He was obviously talking about the anime contract I signed before telling him.

"I already check the credibility of the producing house, the pay I'm going to get and how this will influence the agency. I was in a rush and you were not in Tokyo nor answered your phone."

He eyed me. "You're smart, it's a shame you didn't finish high school."

"Don't be mean. I took extra classes and got my diploma. I graduated from high school legally. "

"I see. I'll age prematurely dealing with the stress you give me."

I stopped for a moment and turned towards him. "You practically acted like a father since I got here. You're always scolding me."

He cleared his throat. "See there you go. I'm too young to be a father so..."

"You're fourty..Get on with it. I know some ladies that you can meet..."

"Misaki, as much as I admire your effort to marry me off...." He went on.

"I'm only thinking of your happiness." I interrupted him.
